Siamo stati a pranzo ma boh, forse i prezzi con i quali ci hanno spennato sono causa della location che effettivamente è suggestiva, ma la cucina dovrebbe pur sostenere un listino dove il mito della bistecca lo si puó anche comprendere anche se 70 euro al kg ci impietosisce, ma un mezzo galletto 25 euro e un panino con una Svizzera (che chiamano bistecca poichè fa più figo che manzo?) con maionese e pomodoro 28 euro... Non aggiungo aggettivi.. A voi la scelta. Per me sono out

Fantastic experience, best hotel/villa we've ever stayed in on our 8 trips to Italy. Beautiful location outside Greve in Chianti (close enough if you don't mind a 30 minute walk). Hillside vineyards and olive groves. Great restaurant right here, loads of fun cooking class offered most days, we had Maria teaching us for 7 hours, lots of wine but great way learn how to make homemade pasta and other Italian specialties. We stayed in Limonaia which had a wonderful terrace area, everything in our room was perfect. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Could not have been better, will definitely be back.

Excellent care from Villa Bordoni during our 5 night stay! A return trip to Greve will definitely include a stay at Villa Bordoni! Beautiful Villa, clean & quiet, with wonderful food & hospitality all in the beautiful Chianti countryside. Recommendations for local vineyard tour was spot on! Travel to Florence by bus (about 1 hr) was 5 Euros each way; the bus was a great way to avoid the hassle of driving! Travel to Santa Maria Novella train station & stop at the Mercado on your walk to central Florence! Siene is a short drive away, making it a great day trip from Villa Bordoni!

6 of us stayed at Villa Bordoni for 3 nights. Everything about the hotel and the surrounding area is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and always ready to serve. We had dinner the first night at the hotel which was wonderful. The garden and the pool area are so nice to relax in the morning or afternoon after activities or winery visits in the area. Highly recommended, we will be back.

I can't begin to capture the stunning beauty of the countryside around Villa Bordoni, nor the elegant, comfortable, and tasteful interiors of what was once a stone tower in the Chianti wilderness. This is heaven on earth. The rooms are wonderfully appointed and sizable, the bathroom is beautifully tiled, and the toiletries smell amazing. Breakfast is served downstairs in the comfortable bar area where we spent many a happy hour drinking the house wine. After meeting the gorgeous and vivacious vintner, we liked the wine even more, and now order it by the case to drink at home and reminisce about the most perfect stay in Tuscany. The owners and the staff are all delightful, the food is amazing the grounds are stunning. Villa Bordoni is heaven, and who doesn't want to stay in heaven?

We stayed 3 nights at Villa Bordoni and it was a magical Tuscan experience. The room was very confortable and unique. It was very impressive and charming to stay in a villa from the 11th century. Breakfast was excellent and the area is overlooking the beautiful gardens. Dinner was fantastic and service phenomenal. The staff is very attentive and we highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic! Great place. Friendly people, so relaxing! Just what we needed after 3 weeks of travel. Took the cooking class and it was out-of-sight great!!! What a wonderful experience!!! Room was great and they made us feel so special. Can't find one thing to gripe about. Most important, I think these these people actually care, ....... and it shows.

What a great find this place was. Such a beautiful location in this older, quaint Italian Villa. The rooms are cute, service fantastic, and food incredible. The grounds are beautiful complete with a pool to swim in or just lounge around. Everything is extremely neat and clean. Our only regret was not taking the cooking class.

Quite simply one of the most pleasant and unique hotels I have ever visited, and I have visited a lot of hotels. The bathrooms are all unique and comfortable, which is sort of a big deal. The breakfast is the best. Wine cellar is great. Service excellent. It’s been years (I only put Oct 2023 as my date because 2013 wasn’t available), and I am returning in early November. I hope it hasn’t changed.
