I normally do not write reviews, but Spring Hill Suites' actions left no choice. I normally prefer to stay at this location on business trips, and the facilities are generally pretty nice as are the employees. I booked a business trip to stay at the facility for two nights, with my first night being the day I booked it. 30 minutes after booking the hotel, the business trip was cancelled due to inclement weather. This is the same storm that shut down Greenville County/School Systems/etc. Less than an hour after booking, I called Spring Hill and third-party company and asked to cancel the reservations right away and let them know that weather was the reason it was being cancelled. I heard back close to a week later saying that they would not refund any money even though I didn't use the room. I eventually spoke with the manager of this location, who was a nice person, but did not get back to me as she said she would. I ended up having to call her back to check on the status of my refund request. I didn't really even ask for a refund, I just asked for a vouchers as I travel to Greenville semi-frequently for business and I would stay at the hotel. She declined, but indicated she'd refund one night back, but would not refund the first night even though I attempted to cancel less than an hour after making the reservation due to my business trip being cancelled. I still haven't received the refund of that one night. I will not use Spring Hill anymore for business or personal travel anymore due to this and recommend you do not as well. My advice to anyone making a reservation at this facility: Don't die/get in a wreck while you're making your way to Greenville as you'll still get charged despite you not using your room.
