Prospect Hill Inn & Restaurant

Awesome Experience in All Respects One of the most wonderful vacation! The Innkeepers (Jim & T) made the experience personal in all aspects. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms comfortable and lovingly appointed. The breakfasts are made with love (delicious & presentation wonderful). We would highly recommend the Inn Keepers diner. Top notch B&B , great hosts, impeccable grounds. This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. Its ideally located in Virginia wine country and in proximity to the homes of three past presidents, all of which you can visit. If you feel like shopping or eating out, Charlottesville is nearby.

A pleasure to visit Prospect Hill with good friends for a short vacation. The setting is spectacular: rolling meadows, wildflowers festooned with butterflies, mature trees (some over 1000 years old!), gorgeous landscaping, and very quiet. The Sanco Pansy cottage was both nearby and secluded, very quaint and comfortable. Jim and Terenee were warm, welcoming and very accommodating. The pool was a particularly nice treat, which we had to ourselves. Breakfast was delicious and filling and served with pride. Can't wait to come back!!

The owners, Terenee and Jim, have created something special at Prospect Hill Inn. My wife and stayed there last August, shortly after Terenee and Jim had taken over as owners, and we greatly enjoyed our stay. We just returned and were even happier with our stay. All of the good things associated with our first stay (attentive and professional service, clean and comfortable rooms, beautiful grounds, great breakfasts, being warmly welcomed) are even truer today. Terenee and Jim have continued to improve both the facilities and the grounds; for example, the pool has been updated and a beautiful wildflower meadow has been added. In addition, we took advantage of the Saturday night five course dinner and it was wonderful. The attentive service has remained and it was truly a pleasure getting to interact with the owners. Would not hesitate in returning or recommending it.

Wonderful place to stay. Owners wonderful. Have great suggestions on where to visit in the area. Be prepared for two large well behaved dogs. Breakfasts definitely on high carb side, but very tasty. Grounds are beautiful. Lots of birds. Great location.
