The staff at this hotel were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and coffee.

The hotel was very clean
The tub had a crack in it and the one shelf in the back room was coming off the wall
Had great hotel service
The swimming pool was amazing
Wish they had a hot tub though

My mom and I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We were very disappointed. Some of the complaints alone would have been ok but the amount of problems was beyond what I consider acceptable. It started with the first room we were placed in. The handicap accessible shower had a moldy and dirty floor. Not somewhere I'd want to stand bare-foot. We were graciously switched to a different room. The toilet seat was cracked/broken and could not be used. Thankfully that was fixed when I notified the front desk. Here are some of the other issues in the room: A light bulb was out which was replaced. The outlet cover by the desk was broken and only half of it was actually covered. That's a hazard. It was not fixed while we were there. The pool was closed for maintenance and one, of 2, elevators did not work. In addition to all this no one came in to replace towels or make up the beds even though it states they will do it every other day. My credit card was also over charged $150. I am waiting for a call back from the hotel. These are not the only issues but I'm sure you get my point. As a positive, all the employees we met were polite, friendly and helpful.

NO - no - NO!! Nothing short of a 5 out of 5 rating...maybe a 6 , 7, ,8 out of 5. HAMPTON GREECE, NY: IMMACULATE - safe - well lit - QUIET - modern - the room - SPOTLESS / CLEAN - every thing working - TREMENDOUS - BREAKFAST: outstanding - get this: NO finding fault - NO COMPLAINTS.....and the HIGHLIGHT: THREE (3) game changers -STAFF WORKERS: Check-in a "SPECIAL LADY" - NAHKIYA (KAHYAH) - pleasant - welcoming - professional - TREMENDOUS first impression; BREAKFAST: a beautiful lady named "KIA" a non-stop - hard working - run-run-running filling/refilling ALL the items AND with a gorgeous smile and "cool" disposition throughout her DO-EVERY THING" crazy morning duties - FANTASTIC ! - IMPRESSIVE; CHECK OUT ..the sad part: one more "LADY" - BREE making sure our stay was "what WE expected" and letting us know our stay was "much appreciated" - SPECIAL ! All - in - all HAMPTON - GREECE, NY should honor: NAHKIYA (KAHYAH) - KIA - AND BREE as these 3 (THREE) VERY SPECIAL LADIES exemplified what HOSPITALITY - FRIENDLINESS - SINCERITY - and HARD WORK and CARE - CARE - CARING make people like us "want" to RETURN....Again, the property / rooms / breakfast OUTSTANDING !! Stayed here for night. Nice quite Hampton Inn, clean and comfortable as we expect from this chain. Nothing really outstanding here one way or the other... except for the Canadian Geese and all their goslings outside. They were great to watch, even when you had to wait for them to cross.

Breakfast was inferior, perhaps worst ever experienced at a Hampton. Room was clean enough, and everything worked properly. Location is good, front staff average. Other options are nearby, and should be considered. Franchisee chargers $150 “incidentals fee”, still not sure what that is for, but it was refunded a few days after checkout.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Room was fine, clean, and quiet. No complaints. Relatively standard Hampton Inn. Close to the University of Rochester which was good for me since I was there for work. I would stay here again when back in Rochester.

Great family place. First and foremost, all the staff here is wonderful - so friendly, efficient and accommodating! They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Next, what stood out was the CLEANLINESS. The rooms and the common areas, including the pool area and linens, were so clean and neat. Couldn’t have asked for better. The room was very comfortable and the hallways were also clean. In the breakfast area, the tables were kept clean as guests kept coming in to eat. Breakfast was delicious and we had many item choices. They kept the food trays filled also. They really pay attention to detail at this hotel. I don’t understand the bad reviews here because that was not our experience at all. Quite the opposite. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in this area.

First First 2 nights and I changed rooms 6 times. Room 1. Thermostat would only turn temp down not up. Blinds wouldn’t close. Room 2. Smoke detector beeped every 5 min. Room 3 Stink covered up by Fe breeze and window left open by maintenance staff to “air it out”. It was 40deg outside. Room 4 door wouldn’t open. Room 5 toilet leaked and flooded bathroom. Entire hotel is an embarrassment to the Hilton Name. Staff was rather rude and unapologetic. Very poorly maintained. I have stayed in many Hampton Inns across the country but none like this one. If I could give it a negative score I would. If you’re looking to book here, just say no!
