Grange Manor

Stunning large room, although not the one pictured with a bath in the window sent with our confirmation. Very nice large bathroom with excellent shower. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. Very quiet location but, for us, being up a hill, with none or little street lighting going out of town not the ideal place to be in March if you did not wish to drive, OK with lighter evenings in the summer. We arrived at 2.00 pm and after ringing the doorbell twice and no answer we entered and eventually after calling out were greeted by the lady servicing the rooms, despite having filled in the check-in the previous evening stating we would arrive around 1.00 pm ours was the only one not ready so we decided to head into town via a walk down through the woods and made the decision to stay until the evening. Rang twice with a message to say that we would be checking in around 6/7 pm and asking for confirmation that this would be OK, both of which went to voicemail. When we arrived back we queried why we had received no response to our messages and was told by the person on duty, who appeared a bit flustered, that they had just come on and at one stage in the conversation she said "You do not have to stay here".

An absolute gem in Grange over Sands! Amazing rooms, well thought out, beautiful surroundings. We especially loved the experience of having breakfast served in our room (more like a suite) - this is not to be mistaken as room service - think far more luxurious than that! Superbly run - never intrusive, attention to detail far surpassed our high expectations.

Absolutely gorgeous room and hot tub on patio area, breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly and pleasant. Would definitely recommend. Short walk in to the village with plenty of small tea rooms and places to have food and alcohol, you also had option to order food and take back with you

Stayed 2 nights in garden room with hot tub. Hosts were welcoming and friendly. Loved the little touch’s like the pillow spray and treats in the room. Breakfast served to the room at your preferred time was really nice. 10 minute walk into town. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely, luxury B&B in Grange, easy access to Train Station and walk into Town and local amenities. We were attending a Wedding evening reception at a nearby hotel on a Friday evening. Weather was a little windy and rainy, so if you think you may need a taxi, then book in advance as there are not many taxi cars locally and get booked up quickly. Our stay whilst only for one night was very comfortable, the property is in a lovely location, although up a hill, and is 10 mins walk from town. The room was finished to a very high standard, spacious en-suite bathroom, with a feature roll top bath in the bedroom. Warm, comfortable, nicely located, with an awesome breakfast, the full English was superb. Thank you Grange Manor.
