really nice staff The staff at Arteaga and the Banos Elvira were the highlight of this trip. They were so warm and inviting and helpful. The location was also quite close to walk to the Alhambra and the main squares and shopping beneath the Alhambra. Unfortunately the bed (pillow in particular) wasn't that comfortable and the room we stayed in faced an alley with VERY noisy neighbors. I know that Spanish people tend to eat late and have a good time, but after a full day of sightseeing and a relaxing soak and massage in the baths on-site, we were ready to go to bed early...and simply could not because there was a birthday celebration going until midnight on a Monday night. I know this is not the fault of the hotel, but I was quite tired and disappointed at how little sound was blocked out by just closing our window and curtains at night. We did enjoy the bathhouse below, which was super convenient to just go downstairs and back upstairs in our robes and slippers. The highlight of Arteaga was the staff friendliness for us.
