Don’t stay at this place!! This is the worst place you can stay at in Gothenburg! We booked the Hotel through ***********, got there at 1 am and the reception was closed. Our key was in a postbox, which the hotel had informed us about prior to checking in. We entered the hotel the smell of the premises hit us directly, the room was awful and super cold. The state of the room was so awful that we just wanted to leave. We called *********** and they tried to contact the hotel to inform them about our complaint, however, since the reception was closed they could not talk to anyone. Two hours later we called *********** again and informed them that we could not stay at the hotel. We left the hotel at 3 am and once again *********** tried to get hold of someone at the hotel to inform them about our complaint. We had paid for 2 nights but were there for only 2 hours. We tried to get *********** to refund us at least the money for one out of the two nights. We were told that they would contact the hotel in the morning and get back to me the following day. The day after I received an email from *********** informing me that I needed to contact the hotel directly. I called the hotel and their answer to our case was that *********** had not contacted them and therefore they had not been given the opportunity to provide us with a new room. I told them that *********** had contacted them 2 times during the night and no one had answered. The hotel claimed that they could not see any missed calls and therefore they had no obligation to return us any money, not even for the night we didn’t stay there at all. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever had do deal with. So now here I am, paid for 2 nights, was there for 2 hours and the hotel is refusing to give me any refund. This is a review that you really need to consider if you are planning to book this hotel! Don’t! You will regret it!! However, if you don’t mind staying in a smelly, disgusting, cold room, then please go ahead!!
