- another 1 week+ stay at MO Bodrum; outstanding high-end luxury. Have kept coming back year after year. - High level of peace, excellent service across the board - Highlight1: Akman is a tremendous ambassador; hard working, resourceful, thoughtful; he went above and beyond to deliver exceptional service. 10 out of 10. - Highlight2: the spa therapist Bam is also exceptional. 10 out of 10. Perfection - Highlight3: Zeynep of reservations is extraordinarily helpful, thoughtful, proactive, resourceful; wow. 10 out of 10. A joy to interact with. - Highlight4: Guest experience manager Sevda is super; detailed, diligent, thoughtful, proactive; really impressive. 10 out of 10. - Highlight5: Volkan and gym experience very well managed, every year so strong. Incredible expertise. - Japanese restaurant has significantly improved. - Semih from breakfast is really helpful, deserves special recognition. 10 out of 10. - Therapist Seri at the spa also incredible capable and outstanding. - Low point 1: Buggy service continues to be the weak link. Should not save on budget here. Saw multiple instances of guests arguing because of the unavailability of buggy service at blue beach etc; suggest hiring 2x to 3x the buggy drivers. - Low point 2: Buggy driver Efe was horrible; incompetence, lazy, no idea what he was doing, untrained and just low level - Low point 3: Ferdi Baba has terrible service and feels distinctively dishonest; multiple examples of major incompetent, they seem to consistently overcharge guests. Restaurant is not busy at all yet the servers all seem lazy and unable. Management also seems lost and not understanding of service standards. Ferdi Baba is a relative disaster; last year was the same. There is a distinct feeling of dishonesty at the restaurant. - Given the high prices, hotel should be careful not to be too stingy on budget areas such as buggy service. - Sauna and spa is outstanding and very well maintained; aerial yoga area is really solid. - Vollkan is super good. But the gym is getting old. Maxx Royal and others have a much better gym. For example, MO Bodrum absolutely needs new indoor stationary bike; the current one is terrible/very old. The equipment at MO Istanbul is much better for example. The gym expansion is good but still, much of the equipment needs to be upgraded. MUST get a proper indoor stationary bike. Also, the free activities are not great. Maxx Royal is far better in this department (quality of gym and equipment and classes). - Blue beach menu has improved. - Additions that would significantly enhance experience: cold ice plunge (modern spas have this increasingly), hotel slippers are not of good quality and should be upgraded. The entrance area looked much better/more refined/aesthetic with the wood as compared to the new imposing MO fan sculpture. Before it looked peaceful; now it looks obstructed and not good.
