Riu Hotel Astoria

Spędziliśmy tu fantastyczne wakacje! Po przyjeździe okazało się, że w przydzielonym nam pokoju nieprzyjemnie pachnie - po zgłoszeniu do recepcji, otrzymaliśmy nowy, świetny pokój z widokiem na promenadę i morze. Jedzenie super - ogromny wybór, przepięknie podane, chociaż zdarzyło się, że część dań bywała zimna - warto nad tym popracować. Drinki bardzo nierówne - część bardzo dobra, innych nie dało się wypić (np. mohito z koncentratu) Pokoje przestronne i czyste, codziennie sprzątane. Obsługa przemiła - od pracowników recepcji, przez panie sprzątające po wspaniałych animatorów. Codziennie inne animacje. Przy basenie zawsze dostępne leżaki. Na plaży obowiązuje zakaz rezerwacji leżaków (SUPER!) - po godzinie obsługa zabiera ręczniki i można je odebrać. Jedyne do czego naprawdę mogę się przyczepić to siłownia - ok. 6-7 sprzętów do ćwiczenia górnych części ciała (z czego jeden niedziałający i w czasie naszego 2tygodniowego pobytu nie został naprawiony), kilka sprzętów do cardio i... nic do ćwiczenia dołu :( Przydałyby się wolne ciężary (hantle, sztanga) + sprzęty do ćwiczenia dołu, żeby dziewczyny na siłowni też miały coś z życia ;) W przyszłym roku tu wrócimy, więc sobie sprawdzę czy na siłowni nastąpił postęp i sugestie zostały wysłuchane ;)

I had an amazing stay at this all-inclusive beachside hotel with a private beach. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious. The main restaurant offered a Mediterranean menu, and there were two additional restaurants that required reservations—one Italian and one Asian. I particularly enjoyed the Asian restaurant, where the biryani and tom yum soup were exceptional. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Pokoje czyste, bardzo dobrze sprzątane, osobne ręczniki na plaże, miła obsługa, pobyt był udany, polecam, plaża czysta, fajny bar przy plaży, piwo, koktajle, kawa, restauracje tematyczne, naprawdę polecam każdemu ten hotel!!!!!!!!!

It is the second year we spend our summer vacation here. Last summer we had a pleasant surprize and we left home with the certitude that we will return. This year was even better, true that it started with a problem, but we've solved it. You cannot appreciate the fact that althought there are lots of children it is clean....and I know...I am mother. You cannot appreciate the clean windows despite the millions of little fingers and little noses, the nerve( if I am allowed to call it this way) to have white front for restaurant tables even if at each table there is at least one child fighting his/her mother to replace broccoli with chocolate.....and both leave difficult stains.You have to appreciate the medical soap with disinfectant and glycerin present in each bathroom, unfortunately there are hospitals that do not have that. Nobody is perfect, but, congratulations you are almost there! Special thanks from our family to the manager.

The issues started as soon as we arrived at the hotel. We asked where we could park, and the receptionist told us we could park in front of the hotel if we find a spot. We found a spot, but the parking attendant didn’t speak English. He told me we could park since there was a free space, then signaled another car to take the spot. Before that, he kept asking me for a ticket or a tip. I went back to reception, and they said they couldn’t give me a ticket unless there were available spaces. I thought they were joking. Ok. Could you check if there are any? Can I be in two places at once? I wondered. We ended up parking in another parking lot at the back, which was quite far away. Not to mention that the path was cobblestone with huge gaps, so you can’t pull suitcases or a stroller; you have to carry them in your arms. Eventually, at some point, they told us we could park in the underground parking. We had to pay 8 leva for just over an hour, and then we moved the car to the underground parking, where we paid 25 leva per day.It was time consuming and whenwe want it to move it in the underground they put me the same questione.If I was there and if there are any available places.Very funny these employees.After I said that it’s not possible to put me that question and she should check on a little raise tone she checked on the computer and she told us that there are available. They have two restaurants, one Italian and one Asian. The Italian, the first night, it was closed. I asked an employee standing in front why it wasn’t open, and he told me it would open on Monday and Tuesday (it was Friday). The second night, I saw it was open. I asked an older gentleman standing at the entrance, and he just said, 'No reservation, you cannot go.' Ok,just I wanted to know how can we make a reservation.I spoke to the manager, who apologized for the misunderstanding and made a reservation for us for Monday. It was actually the same food they had in the main restaurant, except you had to go through the hassle of making a reservation. We stayed at Astoria Mare because we had a superior double room, but the restaurant required a reservation, so we had to go eat at a restaurant quite far away, in the other hotel. The food was okay, but not very varied. Almost the same food every day and many low-quality products. The desserts were unimaginable, with the same taste, a thousand creams and colorings. Almost always the same. Only the cake-like ones were okay. Breakfast was the same every day. The beach bar only operates until 5:00 PM. If the drink is bad, they’ll serve it like that and then laugh behind your back. This happened with a customer who received a cola that had a very odd color. And then, after he left, she told her colleague, 'We have a cola problem,' and laughed. I actually wanted to get the cola. She wanted to give me the bad one, but I heard when she told her colleague. I told her I didn’t want it if it wasn’t good to drink.Unfortunately, I didn’t see where

The hotel is very nice and is located right near the main street where you can go shopping, or even the port for those who prefer to take a walk along the sea instead. The rooms are large, spacious and very clean, the breakfast is well stocked and at the reception everyone is very kind and ready to help you with anything you need.
