We had one day family picnic from Thamel grand hotel booking for 43 packs .what a mind blowing service ,delicious food ,nature friendly place , amazing staff and very welcoming . Thanks to the Director Tika Karki.🙏. Teamwork was excellent .🌸🌸👍

This hotel was great. The main issue is that you can’t easily access the golf course or the park, even though they literally in the backyard of the hotel. The is a big fence blocking access to the golf course, so you have to walk 35 minutes to the next hotel and enter from there. It’s really annoying because I booked this accommodation so that I could explore the forest, but the access was actually really far away.

We stayed in this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff but the hotel itself needs refreshing ( cables of appliances visible, some paint needs to be redine…). Huge rooms and huge bathrooms, but bathroom had a 25watt bulb so was very dark. TV was at other end of bedroom but was small so hard to see. That kind of stuff. It all feels like management is making some effort but it does not come together. Breakfast was as can be expected. Dinner was not good ( two burgers were simply cold). Rooms have AC that is also givibg warm air. Shower has hot water. There is a garden and am outdoor pool ( weather far too old in December). Location is far away from everything ( further out than bouddha temple). Seems a place catering mainly to local functions and events ( birthdays and the like). In short: dont expect a luxury stay!

This is now our 4th time we chose Norling as our home for our Nepal explorations. We LOVE this place. Obviously it is a beautiful place with great, spacious rooms/suites and luish garden and swimming pool. But what sets this place apart for us is the people: the staff is really our family and goes out of their way to make our stay as wonderful as possible. There's of course Sunil Kapali, the operating manager, who is such an aimable guy. Always smiling and up for a talk, showing great interest in the personal life of his guests and really running a great team there. Ichcha Thapa we know already for some years now. She is such a sweat person with her great smile and professional service, all the while giving us the feeling we really are all family. This is also true for Svajin, always smiling, and playfull, with his great sense of humour. And let's not forget Arun Giri, Rup Bhul and all the other guys who take care of serving our meals and preparing delicious drinks. And Tsewang and Harish who run the desk so professional and are always ready to arrange taxi's or other practical things. Let's not forget the cook who really is a chef and an artist in creating the most delicious Nepali thali and other yummies. There are so many more who we'd like to thank and I'm sure we are forgetting to name a few but we love you all! We are already looking forward coming back with a group of new friends, eager to join the Norling family! Thank you and Namaste!! Maaike and Ray

The natural beauty that surrounds the property is breathtaking, and the design of the resort seamlessly blends into its surroundings. The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. The dining options were exquisite, offering a diverse range of culinary experiences. What truly sets this resort apart, though, is the staff's genuine hospitality and eagerness to make your stay unforgettable.

I had booked in resort for my wedding photoshoot and one night stay. It was worth it every single seconds we spent there. Staff were friendly, room and services were superb. Over all it was a good experience. And loved the location for photo shoot which was the best part. Five Star service.

The resort should let us know that the vloger are coming today or the vloger need to reserve the whole place to be themselves. Environment was terrible as well the changing room. Very terrible experience. I won’t recommend any one to go there.

Ook dit jaar weer een geweldig fijne tijd gehad in Norling. De staff heette ons weer hartverwarmend welkom en het voelde als thuiskomen bij familie! Kamers zijn super comfortabel en iedereen doet zijn uiterste best om het de gasten naar de zin te maken! Eten is heerlijk! Onze favorieten: ti momo en nepalese thali! Chef Subash, bediening Ichcha en manager Sunil, en alle andere lieve mensen daar hartelijk bedankt voor jullie goede zorgen. We hopen jullie volgend jaar weer te zien!
