Spa is not complimentary. The property location is great it's a government property, quote old. They have huge premises with garden. Food is good, like home made. The desert served is too sweet. Swimming pool is quite good, very clean. Other indoor and outdoor games are not there. This must be the best property in gokarna. Staff is polite. Room size is big. They have entrance lobby, sofa- table room and separate bedroom.

it is an old property with individuals villa style rooms and one has to climb 10-12 stairs to get into the room so not suitable for senior citizens who have issues with joints/ knee pain. you get exposed to the weather when you come out of the rooms so better carry umbrellas to go to the restaurant etc…there are no intercom if you need something you will have to go to the reception.
food is very tasty they serve traditional sambhar/ rasssam, two veg/ non veg dishes etc ... would like to add that staff was very nice and friendly

The place is very basic. Rooms are hug h but apart from that everything else is at bare minimum. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all in the same place with limited choice. It is almost like dining in a hostel. The pool is well maintained.

The property, location, staff and food was very good. The only thing that needs is an upgrade to the in-room amenities. The linen, towels etc. Are very old and with stains. For a place at this price point it devalues the experience.

Om beach resort is 5 km from the beach on Om Beach road. It is a got run venue with mostly lovely staff except the manager. As we arrived he started yelling at us that he had tried to contact the tour co to find out where we were. This was a clear booking months in advance. We arrived at 1.45m....not late. He relentlessly yelled at us as if his problems were ours. We think he hates his job. The only conclusion we can come to. With this welcome? We proceeded to complete documentation, were given details of meal times, no WiFi and directed to go the dining area & eat lunch. No indication where our room was. Never informed about a pool existing. Once lunch finished we finally found someone who could help.us find our room. The room was a double room, spacious with inside and outside seating, comfy bed and a clean bathroom. There was air con, fans and filtered water in jugs provided. By far all the other staff apart from the manager were friendly, helpful and professional. The meal times were set and food was presented buffet style. The meals were quite adequate. The gardens of the property were delightful. A lovely setting. There was also a really pleasant *** who could take you down to Om Beach or Kudle Beach at 7.30 am and 4pm. A welcome service. Sadly none of this information had been told to us so it took time to know what was happening. The staff knew the routine but it would have been good to give a kind welcome and a broader low down of what the property has on offer at check in. This is an ideal spot to be away from chaos once you get past the front desk😊

Based on the excellent experience we had at their property in Dandeli, we decided to stay here. It's an excellent property not maintained well. Rooms are spacious, but look very old. Housekeeping is very poor. They don't provide tea-coffee kettle or supplies in the room unless you ask for it. We hot it after 5 hours of requesting. Swimming pool has broken tiles. My grandchildren had cuts in their feet. They had a small first aid box that was empty. Took them a few hours to arrange band-aid. Though they call it Om Beach resort, the beach is about 5 kms away from the resort. Food was good. Lots of greenery around. That's they get my 2 stars.

We were on a leisure karnatak road trip from 27th to 3rd march 2023. Our stay at kali jangle resort and devbaug island resort was fabulous in spite of a little run down rooms and very bad approach road to the devbaug island resort. The staff from the top rank to the bottom most were so welcoming, affectionate, caring and respectful. However, our trip didn't end on the same note having met the manager at Om beach resort. If any example to be given whom not to appoint as a manager in hospitality industry then this manager at this property would be an apt example. Very unwelcoming sad face, not even ready to talk to the guest with a smile. In fact the word smile doesn't exist in his dictionary. I do understand people might have some issues in their personal lives. But then such people SHOULD NOT BE APPOINTED AS THE FRONT DESK STAFF. He could be easily kept on back office desk if the government wants to do charity. The money charged is not less. Travelling from pune was not easy for us either. Then why did we go there to see this sad face???? Not just that, we asked for an extra ride at extra cost as there were no other guests. He refused it bluntly. The entire staff there is being harassed by this ***.
