Premier Inn Gloucester (Longford)

We stopped at the Longford site for two nights 14th and 15th October. The hotel was conveniently located with plenty of parking. Our room was on the first floor and was well presented comfortable and quiet. The bed was great a king size superb!! Staff were friendly and helpful and as ever the restaurant was on site and a few steps from the hotel. The evening meal was well cooked and reasonable priced. Breakfast was a peaceful experience as we weren't in until 9a.m. Simone was in charge on both mornings and is a lovely friendly welcoming person and kept things running smoothly. Thanks Simone. We travelled by taxi into Gloucester using the taxi firm (Five Star) that Premier Inn have a direst phone link with. Cost £9.20. Very reasonable. Our overall experience was 5* in every sense. Thanks for a great couple of days.

We stayed at this beautiful little hotel. For a anniversary night away and its perfect. The staff were helpful and welcoming, it's in a quite location but not too far from local bars. Great idea for the vending machines in the lobby, the rooms were clean and well presented. The TV was a lovely size and the ports helped with streaming from devices. The bed, covers and pillows were heavenly Breakfast was amazing had everything you would want for breakfast.

Brilliant clean tidy hotel, food is alot better than local rival hotels, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, I have been staying here now for around 5 weeks 2 nights a week and I have no plans to change for the next year while I'm working down here, couldn't ask for a better service off all the staff,

Hotel feels like it is being run into the ground. Have stayed here many times before with no issues but this time it was dreadful. Restaurant and bar closed early after a 6 hour journey, room was tired and cold and the sheets felt damp with ripped curtains.

Stopped at this Premier before over the year and understand that the restaurant is now just for guest which is amazing. however the car park and surrounding grounds need urgent attention and the dumped car need removing which has been there for at least 7/8 years.

Party of 5 people travelled for 8 hours. Arrived at 9pm. Prepaid evening meal and all ready to eat and crash out. Restaurant closed because they could not take orders on their system. Could they not just write it down? Left driving around trying to find somewhere open which was not what we needed. Would stay elsewhere

Nice staff easy check in, only stayed fir a ine night stop over and had a great sleep. Rooms were clean with great cotton bedlinen and great mattress. Room was quiet no noise inside and out. Decaf tea available which was great. Good value for money.

Have stayed here before. Rooms are lovely & clean. Ample tea,coffee,milk etc supplied. More at reception if needed. Towels,shower gel supplied. Booked breakfast same time as booking room. Plenty of choice. GF & Vegan options available if you ask. More than helpful. Perfectly situated for visiting family. Recommend.

Just returned from 2 day trip to Gloucester whilst staying at this hotel. Very disappointed with the room we were given. I booked a double room but was given a tiny room which was barely big enough for one let alone two. Also the bathroom was so small we had to take it in turns when using it. I queried this with the receptionist who informed me they couldn't move us as they were fully booked. Can't say the hotel looked fully booked from the occupied rooms on show. Also I thought a standard room was meant to include an armchair or a chaise- lounge, this room had neither. This seems to be their policy now as we have booked the last three times a double room and they have given us what amounts to a single. Very poor value for money.
