We arrived late and were given a room next to the elevator and housekeeping. In the morning all we could hear was people outside our door speaking Spanish and people coming and going from the elevators. Upon arrival, we asked the clerk if we could get another room, and she wouldn't make any attempt to accommodate us suggesting that since we were late, we would have to take what was available. The rooms need to be updated. There is worn carpet everywhere and tiles that have been removed and replaced multiple times. For the price we paid, I was disappointed.

Front desk not helpful elevator not working. We were on the third floor and had to carry all down from floor 3. When I said something to front desk the response was. We have to carry some furniture up today. Poor customer service. There is a nice best western across the way that my friends stayed at Stay there

Diamond member - direct bill rooms using points. I felt the point redemption was high but can't comment on actual value. Room - clean and in good working order. 2 adults and 2 youth King bed and fold out, room was pretty cramped. Beds were not comfy, very hard and flat pillows. Noise level was moderate. Breakfast- very average Hampton offerings, not much change in 5 nights. The Breakfast attendant was awesome, she was hard working and attentive. The Breakfast space is WAY too small for the property and very crowded both in food area and seating. Staff - just average, not memorable. I did realize after checking in I was recognized as a Diamond member but not offered complimentary water. Most staff was just background. Pool - small, but nice to have indoor pool and hot tub and decent seating space. Kid friendly. Parking area was spacious even with a full house.

The Hotel is fairly clean, the rooms are also well kept up with and clean, the breakfast was great. The only thing keeping me from rating this hotel a 5 is the front desk girl. She is fairly young and has the most unpleasant attitude. Upon our arrival she seemed bothered that we had shown up and interrupted her phone scrolling. She had ear buds on and never once removed them, she looked at us and said “an ID” The next day at check out she was there again looking down on her phone, bothered to be there. The hotel and company is great and needs a front desk person that represents their company. Costumer service is crucial for the operation of a successful business. As I mention she’s a pretty young lady, some additional training would benefit. Other than that our stay was great

Although, the Hampton has been our go-to in Glenwood Springs, this visit has been quite disappointing. The room was dirty including hair in the tub, trash on the floor, and a bed that creaked excessively just sitting on it. I think the box spring is broken. Also, the toilet simply didn't flush. The hotel needs work. After we checked in, dropped off our bags, and went to the hot springs, we returned to find the dead bolt and thumb tab lock to the adjacent room unlocked. This left our personal items unprotected. Sadly this will probably be the last time we stay at the Hampton Inn.

This is our 3rd time staying here for one night as we travel between MN & CA. It is a tired hotel, one of the side doors doesn’t work (and didn’t work when we stayed here last year) which we use for our dogs. There isn’t a walk-in shower, the shower is in the bathtub. The heating/cooling element is very noisy and the bathroom exhaust fan sounds like a chirping bird. We will stay at another hotel next time we are in Glenwood Springs.

Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Caused me to have back pain everyday when I was trying to enjoy my vacation. Rooms are clean but doesn’t make up for a bed that hurts your back and sounds like it will break when you move. Good thing we did the full day at the Iron Mountain Hot springs so I could recover from sleeping in the hotel.

Budget hotel offering basic breakfast choices. Eat elsewhere. We had a few ants in the room. (First floor) but over all the room was as expected. Not as quiet as we would have liked. Breakfast options pushed us down the road for better food. Pool was small and didn’t look appealing.

The rooms are clean, but a lot of the furnishings are old. King size mattress are cheap and uncomfortable. Sliding doors on closet that fall off and sliding door on bathroom that does not work well and very difficult to close or lock. The lady that takes care of the breakfast was very nice. Front desk person was more like a robot that does not smile. Rather expensive for how old the hotel looks inside. Thermostat in room not working. The heating/ac unit below window is quite old, missing cover. No information in room on how to connect to WiFi. There was not any type of welcome papers in room at all.
