As in the majority of hotels worldwide, our policy is to request a credit card security deposit that is not a payment and only guarantees that there are funds available to pay for any charges incurred, this amount is usually 'blocked' on an account but not actually debited. The pre-authorisation is usually removed between 5 - 10 working days afterwards depending on your bank. It was my first time, staying at this hotel Reading the positive reviews I had read online, no doubt I was all excited about what the hotel has to offer.
I am amazed by the cleanliness, awesome view and great customer service
As my flight was due to land in the early morning, I had written to the hotel management to request for an early check-in.
It is worth a recommendation cos there are Asian restaurant and eateries nearby which is about 8 mins' walk away.
It is quite convenient if you wanna take the Metro train to the city. It is actually so close to the hotel.
I am sure I would like to book a room with IBIS Melbourne Glen Waverly if I should travel again. Might consider to upgrade it.

It’s seems nobody living in that room for ages, blow dryer was broken, room full of dust, phone not working, calling reception with mobile no one answering, I won’t stay there again!
