來Glastonbury Abbey聖地巡禮。從Bristol坐Bus 376到Glastonbury的Town Hall以後，不到5分鐘就能走到民宿，輸酒店給的密碼就能進門。房間很乾凈，雖然臨街但晚上完全不擔心會吵。提供英式早餐券，就在酒店斜對面的Bar，吃飯很方便。

Very good service and everything extremely tidy

Prachtige kamer aan de High Street in Glastonbury, midden in het centrum. Wij hadden de kamer "Tufted Owl". Superschoon, ruime kamer met kastruimte en een riante badkamer met toilet & douche. Toegankelijk via deurcodes, heel makkelijk. Handdoeken, beddengoed en prullenbakken werden vaker dan verwacht schoongemaakt/verwisseld. Uitstekend. Een extra plus: een gemeenschappelijke keuken, handig voor servies/bestek als je een maaltijd haalt en op de kamer opeet.

This is a nice, bijou type of place, but not for anyone with limited mobility, as the STAIRS, OMG. But it is clean and comfortable, seems safe, and is endearingly quirky, which is a good fit for incense soaked Glastonbury. It is right on High St., in the old part of town, next to the Abby, and awash in old old old buildings with lots of shops, and did I mention the incense? BUT, the restaurant the proprietress is using for your breakfasts (the Crown, down the street) is terrible. Crappy service, and a very limited selection of only mediocre foods. Why, we could not even get a pot of tea. In England! For our second morning, we left the vouchers and paid for decent brekkie elsewhere. Tin Pot Pasty's across from Town Hall was awesome! And very bizarre: my sister made the reservations, for the 4 of us with 2 rooms, and on our second night, commented that she wasn't sure if the owners had asked for a credit card. We all supposed that she must have, who wouldn't? Well, that very night, as we were all undressing and getting ready for bed, comes a pounding on the door. The sister answers in her underwear, thinking it is our friends, (who else would it be?) and it's the landlord demanding the rent!!!! What a SHAME, (wink wink) she did not have the capability to use our cards for payment right then, so we all had to scramble and gather enough CASH to cover our stay. Are you kidding me? My sister got the email with the deets for getting into the locks for the B&B, no mention of payment. I don't know where the breakdown in communication was, but this was most unsettling! In any case, this is a sweet little B&B, except for the breakfast part, but do make sure you get payment taken care of up front! If it wasn't for the less than satisfactory breakfast, I would have given it 4 stars, even with the late night payment shake down.

Amazing quality of bed and spotlessly clean and cozy room. Right in the middle of the town, with easy access to everything Glastonbury has to offer. Breakfast in the pub over the road was amazing and so good that we went to the same place for dinner and we weren't disappointed. Highly recommended for a short break. We will be back.

Stayed with my two children on a Saturday night. We used the check in details and our initial reaction to the accommodation was that it was wonderful. Very spacious, clean etc. The bathroom was a little disappointing with paint and a shower panel coming away from the wall. The kitchenette was well stocked with all you would need to cook meals for a longer stay (obviously minus the food). The trundle bed was a nice touch in the main 'loving' space. I've never stayed in Glastonbury before and it was somewhat of a last minute booking the Thursday before when I found a discount through ***********. So I'll admit I didn't do thorough research of the area that the b&b is located in. (So taking some responsibility here). When we arrived I realised that it was literally right next to the Assembly Rooms (I had no idea what this building was used for), it was heaving outside the b&b entrance. I didn't think much of it as it looked like families - we went inside and I realised that the main bedroom window was situated right on the side of the alley next to the assembly rooms, again, I thought it would just be open during the day and that the massive amount of noise coming in to the room wouldn't be an issue. Until I saw a sign about an event that was taking place later that evening, so I did a quick Google and soon learned that a band or two were due to be playing that evening in the assembly rooms. From 8pm swaths of people were arriving. Loud, somewhat lairy and drunk. The window in the main bedroom has no purpose other than to block rain and wind. Every single thing taking place outside can be heard as though you are in the alley. The noise of drunken arguing, shouting, dogs barking etc went on til 1am at least. I may be wrong here, but I feel as though the owners should be making people aware either through their website (or third party websites) and when potential guests call to book a room that the b&b is situated next to a music venue. I also feel that some soundproofing and better quality windows wouldn't go a miss. My children and I barely slept. We then had to drag ourselves over to a pub to have breakfast (my fault for not checking that this would be the case, I just saw that breakfast was included and thought 'great'). I absolutely won't be returning, which is a shame as the accommodation itself is lovely, I just feel that there should be more transparency and communication regarding the neighboring buildings and what they are used for, particularly for family bookings.
