Amazing, stunning, incredible! Beautiful villa in even more beautiful surroundings, with nothing but peace, serenity and nature. The owners have done a remarkable job in presentation, attention to detail and high quality furnishings and fittings with no expenses spared. The position of the villas is wonderful, with all three facing the mountains with exceptional views from all floor to ceiling windows along the total length of the villa. It was money well spent for a totally relaxing three night stay, and we will definitely recommend this slice of heaven to anyone travelling to this exceptional part of our country! This was the best place we stayed at during our 7 week trip to Australia. It met all our expectations and was just like our home for us. It always makes being away tricky when you are used to a high spec home. The view was amazing; the environment was tranquil & chilled; Grant & Darrel have taken much pride in their offering - attention to detail incredible. Nothing was overlooked. The welcome provisions ; the daily breakfast delivered to your door; the bath salts & toiletries; the candles; the mosquitoes deterrents ; extra towels…. The DVDs … The list is endless. The only mistake we did was buy too much food before we checked in! The pool was an added bonus. It really is a truly special place & and memory I will treasure forever. We absolutely loved this place, the villa was well designed, extremely comfortable, tranquil with glorious views, especially from the bath! I thoroughly recommend Glass on Glasshouse for couples looking for a romantic escape. The hosts were very responsive and easy to deal with. Self check in couldn't have been easier and I just wish we were there longer to enjoy the pool!

Disappointed overall. We have stayed in quite a few places like this and felt there was nothing spectacular about this one. Biggest issue was that only 1 jet out of the 6 in the spa bath put out enough water to actually feel it but as the others were only putting out such little pressure, the 1 working put out a huge amount of water making it uncomfortable. We chose to stay here primarily due to the spa bath and unfortunately we couldn't use the spa feature at all. Response from owners after stay was unhelpful- stated we needed to change the pressure nozzle (we did this, both ways, multiple times and did not help). They also stated that had we advised them they could have fixed it. There was a power outage for the whole 2nd day we were there (not Owners fault) so letting them know wouldn't have solved this. We expect primary equipment to be checked and working and wouldn't appreciate repair work being done during our stay. The response after the stay would be primary reason we wouldn't recommend this place to others. The self check in process felt impersonal (communication prior to check in was good). The huge amounts of glass are nice but make the room very hot (even in the middle of winter!), and views aren't anything special. The fireplace not being wood does little to add ambience to the room. Breakfast options were limited and we tried 4 different ones over our stay and left most of each of these on the plate. The spa bath fills from the roof which seems like a quirky cool idea but practically just doesn't work. You end up with water splashed everywhere making the bath area slippery and unsafe (husband slipped due to this). You can't fill the bath whilst in the bath with 2 people as it fills in the middle of the bath and is quite loud.
