Royal Chambers Serviced Apartments

Had an excellent stay at Royal Chambers this weekend with family who were visiting from down south. The apartments were lovely inside, comfortable and cosy- just what we needed after a day exploring the city. We all agreed that the beds were the comfiest we've ever slept in. The freshly ground coffee provided was delicious, such a difference from the store bought one I use at home. The booking process was easy and communication with staff was seamless.

Another lovely weekend at this lovely pit stop. Modern and cozy - checked all our boxes and we slept like a log on the super comfy bed. Location was perfect - only a few minutes walk in to the busy Merchant city - easy to find nice bars and restaurants and no need for a taxi back - easy walk back to the Royal. Thanks to the lovely host - couldn’t do enough for us.

Just home from 2 night stay here with friends . Location of Apartments are very handy for City Centre 10-15 minute walk and you are at George Square . Negatives of Apartment are - beds not great mattress is very soft and our duvet cover was ripped on both sides and looked liked it was tumble dried with a hankie bits of fluff everywhere, the shower pressure is poor it’s electric showers 🙀 the floors are very squeaky and noisy if you need the toilet in middle of night , the fridge door didn’t appear to close properly and nothing inside was chilled . We were kindly left a bottle of Champagne as we booked direct but no glasses to drink it other than huge wine glasses or tumblers the millionaire slice was delicious tho , another negative there is no kitchen sink plug so very difficult to wash your dishes 👎 when you arrive at Apartment in the dark the path up to the entrance light is minimal you definitely need more lighting . We were told of lovely cafe downstairs but not told it’s closed Saturday & Sunday 😢 all in all for price we paid apartment is very basic and I would book a hotel over this next time .

We stayed in Royal Chambers 1 for 3 nights. The apartment was ok, but for the price we paid, we were expecting a bit more. Positives: Quirky apartment fairly close to the city centre. Easy access using key codes on each door. We were left with a lovely bottle of Champagne and some millionaire shortbread from the cafe downstairs. The soap, shower gel and conditioner in the bathroom was good quality. The building is beautiful and can be seen from miles away. Negatives: On arrival, the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned, so we swept this ourselves. Although we were left with a bottle of champagne, there were no flutes to drink it from, just huge wine glasses, which made it go flat within seconds. We bought a couple of flutes and left them in the cupboard. There was no plug for the kitchen sink, making washing up very difficult. We did send a message to ask for one, but this wasn't seen by anyone. The cupboard above the sink where the plates were kept didn't stay open, so it made getting the plates out and putting them away difficult. Despite sleeping 4 people, there were only 3 chairs round the dining table. There was a huge crack in the bath panel, and the toilet didn't feel particularly secure! Despite this, we would stay again, but probably request a different apartment.

Quite simply, two friends and myself, (all professional ladies), resided in the Penthouse for two nights at a weekend in March. In addition another two friends (also professional ladies) stayed in an accomodation below. Our accomodation seemed very nice, but was not ready when we arrived. Location was good and price also good. However, visited severely tainted when a couple of days after being back a deduction of money and accusation that a stain was left by us, which we did NOT do!, was received. We are still fighting it! All I can say is be warned! We were never shown in to the apartment by the owner. I suppose we should be thankful we were not accused of more!

Me and my partner stayed at Royal Chambers in March. Came to Glasgow for a weekend. Chose apartments due to the fact that there is living room and bathroom with a bath! We stayed in the penthouse with the terrace overlooking Glasgow Necropolis-what a treat in the morning when having a nespresso coffee on the terrace-Royal Chambers provided coffee capsules,along with organic milk and their homemade caramel shortcake. We booked directly- because of that our check out was 12pm and we received a bottle of a lovely champagne. Kamila and Caterina couldn't have been more helpful when we asked for restaurants recommendations and transport.
