Glacier View Log Cabin

Relax and enjoy hand-made wood-working and your own private glacier view in this historic Alaskan log cabin home. Perched on a hillside above the Glenn Highway, just a two hour drive from Anchorage, Alaska, the Glacier View Log Cabin is a perfect mountain retreat for 1 to 7 people. You can prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or dine at our local lodge across the road. Enjoy stunning views of the glacier and river valley from inside the cabin, or on the deck. The Glacier View Log Cabin has a wood-burning stove with plenty of firewood and kindling available for your use. The cabin has TV, DVDs, and a quality wifi connection. In addition, you'll find a radio tuned to the local station, and a propane grill in the yard, so you do not need to bring charcoal. This cabin has a fully-equipped kitchen, 3 queen size beds, 1 single bed, and 1 indoor bathroom with toilet, sink, and lots of hot water for the tub and shower. Friendly Alpine dairy goats live on the property, along with an assortment of outside cats. The large loop driveway easily accommodates multiple vehicles and snowmachine/ATV trailers.
