The bed was covered in ants, they used ant powder and . We had to move to a different hotel and they refused to give us a refund.

I stayed in a private room with my friend. We had a fantastic time! The staff are very friendly and they run really enjoyable activities. We took part in their snorkelling trip and saw 9 turtles!! They also put on a private cooking class for us because we weren’t going to be staying there on their assigned night. Oh and a fantastic bbq round the pool! ALL the staff were extremely kind and made us feel at home! Especially Peter, Bruno and Chanchar (really sorry I feel like I spelt that wrong!) always checking in on us and giving us great recommendations for sunset/sunrise and more! The building had a really relaxed vibe and decor. The free breakfast pancakes were a lovely way to start the day! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. Can’t wait to go back!

After 2 months of travelling I can safely say this was the worst hostel we stayed in by a long shot. The beds were very uncomfortable and the sheets and bedding seemed to be completely unwashed or unchanged. There was no free water, the rooms were not cleaned at all throughout our stay, there was no working aircon as when you turned it on the room would be filled with a rotten egg smell. To top it all off there were many lost items of ours and a rat in our room. The toilets were also awful, the shower and bathrooms didn’t have a drainage system, there was also no toilet paper. Lastly, there was not one female staff member hired, and questionable banter amongst the group of guys working there. I would recommend against booking this if you’re a solo female traveller or even a group of female travellers.

go there, otherwise you‘ll never meet the wonderful mr. handsome! It was not the cleanest hostel, but therefore very cheap, and good enough for a couple of days. The hostel offers tours and transport and will help you with anything you need.

Great price for basic accommodation, great snorkelling trip option & super friendly/helpful staff. However - seem like there’s a problem higher up with organisation - confusing messages on *********** about our stay and our stay was not known about when we arrived (despite booking months in advance).

Liked · The pancakes they make are pretty good. Pool setting seems nice but the beanbags weren't the most comfortable. Staff seemed like nice fellas. Just a pity the setting isn't so good Disliked · Awful- Had booked for a few nights as it looked decent on the pictures. The building looks like it's held together mostly by twigs and twine which can give a charming hipster vibe but it looks like a day of proper wind and rain could potentially destroy it I felt the double room I booked was a health hazard. It had prison cell vibes, the room was sickly warm and the fans provided were dirty and worn. The room wasn't the cleanest either with the beds wedged in against the wall I stayed the first night as I knew I had to suck it up for the time being but I wore a mask while I slept as I was fearful that I could wake up quite sick the next day. I then more or less just left the key in the door and left. Booked somewhere else. I knew it was too late to ask for any money back (figured there was no chance anyway). No atmosphere either, as there didn't seem to be anyone else there except the local guys who hung out and lived there. If there were others, they didn't hang around or just kept to themselves.
