Lexington North-Georgetown

The room was very clean and roomy. We had a room with a king size bed and it was very comfortable. The pool was comfortable but the door handle leaving the pool area needs to be reattached to the door, it looked like it was about to fall off. The breakfast that was served was one of the best I've had in a while, with biscuits and gravy, potatoes, eggs, bacon, and the assorted fruits, breads, cereals and yogurts also available. The staff were very friendly and their recommendations for dinner out were spot on.

Clean rooms and friendly front desk! Bed was comfortable and everything met the IHG Holiday Inn Express standards that are the reason I like to stay at this chain. Easy to get on and off I 75. Coffee was ready early which is key for us! And they had a nice choice of good fruit at breakfast.

I was not impressed, there was no ice maker to be found and they kept the ice bucket in the disgusting bathroom, photos of that are attached. You can see some sort of substance on the door and in the bathtub. This is not the usually holiday in experience. Btw this was a “disability friendly.” Room. The shower head is extremely out of reach for anyone needing a shower, not to mention the bathtub has a fairly high raise even for someone who isn’t disabled. I wouldn’t recommend this specific location.

Great hotel! Really nice, newer room. Large TV and walk-in shower. Great front desk experience. Their free breakfast was hot and convenient. Someone was on top of it and takes pride in their work. Most free breakfasts in Holiday Inns are terrible, cold, in my experience. Real hit or miss. The only issues are small. They have bottled soap products attached to the shower wall that tend to be clogged and squirt at your eyes. Bathroom fogged up and wouldn’t clear. No exhaust fan. Bathroom door self closes fast. Pushes you inside and can’t leave it open unless you prop it. The couch is some uncomfortable chase-like thing that is ugly and doesn’t serve any purpose well. Bad couch. Bad chase. Bad kids bed? Would definitely stay here again.

A fine hotel. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. One of the better breakfasts we’ve had at the many inns of this brand in all our travels. For those who like the “traditional” Southern breakfast of biscuits and gravy, you’re in good luck.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on my visit to see my son in Kentucky. The Hotel was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and check-in was easy. The room was comfortable and housekeeping did a good job. They offer breakfast in the morning. It was OK. The selection was smaller than I have had at other Holiday Inn Express locations I have stayed at. They did have the good cinnamon rolls, but I had to wait a few minutes for them to replenish them when I first arrived at breakfast. The oatmeal was far too runny. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Room was not ready at check in time, only one elevator In working order,we found water bugs in the room, the folks running the breakfast bar were rude and they had No plastic forks to use. Good sub par. Bread for toast was stale..

BEST MANAGEMENT IVE EVER DEALT WITH; they helped keep my wife completely calm while she argued with our bank to get this hotels holds released. Instead of adding to a situation they were so helpful and understanding.

It looked new on the outside, staff said was totally remodeled 4-5 years ago, was initially built 15 years ago. We had 2 rooms with family, got to our room, unpacked, went downtown to dinner and had turned our thermostat down to 65, it was still 75 in our room when we returned 2 hours later. Called front desk, eventually had to move to another room, was definitely cooler in there, 64.....but then we couldn't get it to warm up any. oh well............shower temperature handle just kept spinning around, would not stop at any point to shut it off or find the right temperature. TV guide did not work, breakfast area dirty and not kept clean, out of hot cereal, poor fruit selection, fake eggs, out of cinnamon rolls too. When I got my bill I had told the front desk staff the night before i would like a discount on the one room for my inconvenience of moving after we had unpacked....she said I will try and give you points. The next day when checking out I said just give me a discount instead of points.....will have to talk to the mgr.....she gave me $40 off...............really?? Claudia Brashear was the manager that morning, failed to come out and talk to me in person. I should of gotten the whole room discounted!
