The first night of our stay my husband phoned the front desk multiple times due to the continuous barking of a dog in the next room. We were informed that we were in the "Pet Friendly" building. No such request was made by us and we were not informed of that fact at the time we were issued our room. No restorative sleep was possible. In the morning (dog still barking), we were given a room in another building and told that we would received a refund for the first night. When we went to check out the next morning, the sign on the lobby/check-in office door said "OPEN", but the door was locked. We knocked repeatedly, waited several minutes, and finally left. We did not receive the promised refund. We also received no follow-up response to numerous emails and telephone calls to Red Roof Inn. I provided details as requested, but never heard back from anyone, although I was promised a response within 48 hours. Nothing.
