Guyana Marriott Hotel Georgetown

I had a little more expectation but it was just ok. The pool was very small and the breakfast had very limited options.

Had an excellent experience in the Executive lounge! Shenia, Francisca, Juvon, and Chef Amanda took great care of me while I was there. The breakfast service had plenty of choices and the area was well maintained. I would highly recommend a visit !

Cynthia, Shenia, Francisca, Ashana, Sowaynee, Juyon, Nadera, and Iyodele in the Executive Lounge are amazing. They always remember me even when I don’t them. Their service is impeccable and they exemplify what the Marriott brand puts out. I enjoy my stays there all the time and they make it worth it. People like them as well as the other hotel employees are amazing and make staying their such an amazing experience

My stay at Guyana Marriott was simply amazing from check-in to departure. Greeted by smiles on check-in and just a warm welcome which positively set the tone for my trip. The polite, hardworking and awesome staff really made my trip a memorable experience. Everyone was affable and top notch service, to say the least At the Executive Lounge, Francisca and Sowaynee were so professional and kind. Chef Allison was so humble, personable and they served up some really amazing and delicious dishes. I think I encountered the entire crew heheh - Shalini, Cynthia, Ashana, Janella, Nadera, Juvon. During happy hour, they even remember what you’re drinking, even with so many people they’re serving. Housekeeping was just perfect and the hardworking females were just the best and friendly and always willing to help with anything. I was working out in the gym and left my AirPods on a machine. The staff and security are so professional here that the gentleman from security had it lodged with paperwork / documentation to sign to receive it. Just amazing and was really impressed by this gesture. It would be remiss of me if I didn’t mention the amazing breakfast at this hotel; maybe one of the best in the Caribbean I have experienced. From the amazing omelette station, to the fresh juice bar, smoked salmon, even local dishes served up, everything was so delicious and tasty. The Food and Beverage Director, Mr. Sharon Mani, definitely runs a tight ship! One of the most professional, humble and kind-hearted human being I have ever encountered; this guy is definitely the ‘gold-standard’ and a great asset to this hotel. I literally saw this man standing and working the floor and greeting everyone in the packed restaurant and at one point even brought a random little girl a cake for her birthday and the smile on that kid’s face just simply said it all. Will definitely return to the hotel because of the impeccable customer service. Regards, Anthony J.

Had a wonderful stay at this picturesque property. Surrounded with water on two sides- almost three, it is truly a very nice hotel with amazing staff. The front desk and the restaurant staff is always smiling and ever-helpful. Special mention should be made of the Lounge Staff that takes such good care of every guest. Personal attention, attentive and genuinely caring. Kudos to Cynthia, Ashana, Shalini, Francisca, Janella, Sowaynee, Shenia, Nadera, Juuan, Raychelle, Amanda and Allison for their great service. Keep it up!

I visited Georgetown for a school reunion. I stayed close by but decided to drop in for lunch at the poolside deck with a friend. The service was absolutely amazing, friendly and excellent service. First of all the food in the lounge was lit And I’m a foodie The first day the chicken what ever it was was the best chicken iv had in 10 years. I ate the back of the chicken joint. Cynthia and ashana were the best I never felt so comfortable in a lounge anywhere in the world. As a marriot ambassador I truly felt the perks of my status for the first time. I was going to venture to get a roti but to my surprise and pleasure they had this morning for breakfast I might have ate it all.

Just stayed at the Georgetown Marriott in Guyana and a few of the crew members really stood out to me and i just wanted to give them some recognition for doing such a wonderful job making my overall amazing stay more comfortable, pleasant and welcoming. Front Desk Regina, Shaniya and Roshunda Executive lounge - Cynthia, Sowaynee, Shalini, Janella, Francisca, Ashana, Shenia, Allison, Nadera, Rayshelle and Jevon. The Terra Mare Restaurant - Ruth and Natalie. You all create such a wonderful environment and I look forward to coming back again in the very near future. Thank you Marriott crew
