The Leith arvostelua

During the Easter holiday, I visited Penang with my partner and chose to stay at The Leith Hotel for 5 days, following a recommendation from a friend. From the moment we arrived, the hotel made a great impression—the lobby was cool and welcoming, and we were greeted with a complimentary welcome drink, which was a lovely touch. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Our room was spotless, fresh-smelling, and completely smoke-free. The bathroom was also very clean and featured a strong, satisfying shower. We were pleased with the thoughtful amenities provided, including bottled water, coffee and tea, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, and even a hairdryer—everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel’s location is another big plus. It's conveniently situated near shopping malls and plenty of delicious local eateries, making it easy to explore the best of Penang. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at The Leith Hotel. If I return to Penang, I’ll definitely choose to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Room is clean to stay enough. The best thing is the location which has lots of nice bars & restaurant around hotel. Definitely will be back😍

Great location in Georgetown, cross over to the road to reach the Red Garden Food Paradise. The bad - limited in-room amenities (only toothbrush and showerkit), no slippers. - receptionist collected RM13 from me even though I checked in with a malaysian passport (by right only RM3) attached a photo of the notice for reference The good - comfortable bed and pillow - nice smelling shampoo/shower gel - bottled water provided - room is generally very new and clean - welcome drink - breakfast provided (omelette was super yummy)

I stayed here for a business trip and found the experience overall positive. The room was clean and comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi and a good workspace. Complimentary with breakfast and welcome drink, it met my key needs for a business stay.

Shower room and toilet is not separated. Be alert! There is no photos of the toilet in the hotel description!

The hotel is located near the restaurant. And its a bit loud during nightime as the customers did karaoke and its quite disturbing for me to take a sleep after the whole tiring day during my outstation trip.

The hotel location quiet far from the city. However, the hotel room itself is nice & comfortable. The hotel staff is helpful & friendly. The parking is provided FOC. Diffculty in finding good & beverages with walking distance. The breakfast provided was just ok.

Just next to Cheong Fatt tze aka the blue mansion, sufficient car park. The hawker center near by (across the street) have live performance until 11pm , so if you are early napper, this might be annoying. Lots of food and cafe nearby. is a lovely small hotel.
