The Kirchenwirt is a traditional hotel in a central yet quiet location in the heart of Weißenkirchen in the Wachau Valley, a 15-minute drive from Krems. All rooms are equipped with solid wood furniture.
A rich breakfast buffet is served between 08:00 and 10:00, including homemade jam. You can have breakfast in the parlors or in the cozy garden. Local and seasonal products are used to create the dishes. The vinotheque offers a wide range of Austrian wines.
In addition to the Kirchenwirt main building, there are 2 renovated annexes from the 16th century, which are located in the immediate vicinity. Each house has its own style. The rooms at the Arkadenhof and the Gellerhaus are very individual, since they feature high wooden ceilings or cross vaults.
Guests of the Kirchenwirt can use a nearby spa area (a 5-minute walk away) at a surcharge.

Ein wunderbares von einer Familie geführtes romantisches Hotel, einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Liegt sehr idyllisch in dem Weinort Weissenkirchen. Hervorragendes Frühstück und Küche. Man wird herzlich aufgenommen und spürt mit welcher Liebe dieses Hotel geführt wird. Sehr schöne neue Wohlfühlzimmer. Werden immer wieder kommen!

This was the nicest place we stayed on a 3 week trip through Central Europe. Top marks for service, cleanliness, breakfast and just over-all gorgeousness of the property and the lovely little village! We were 2 hours late for our check in and the innkeepers could not have been kinder, sending someone to carry our (heavy) bags up the one flight of stairs. The waiter designated one table as "ours' and had it set and ready with our coffee the way we like it right away in the morning! the rooms are very modern in a beautiful old building. We would definitely go back here!

We’ve just left the hotel after a lovely stay. We were 14 friends (7 couples) enjoying four nights. Everyone was really happy with their rooms, service, breakfast and dinners. The owners really made us feel comfortable and welcome back. We’ll situated in the beautiful village of Weissenkirchen. We did the UNESCO hikes 2, 3 and 11. All nice.

What a lovely family run boutique hotel. The owners and their staff are so nice, and helpdull. The rooms are charming with very modern and cool designer bathrooms. The restaurant terrace is charming too and with good local food and wines. The hotel has excellent facility for bikes with its own bike store room straight through their carpark. We will be back very soon.

Hervorragende Küche, das Reh war ein wirkliches Geschmackserlebnis, die Wildsuppe ein toller Einstieg und der Kaiserschmarren ein würdiger Abschluss, großartiges Service!! Und die Wirtsfamilie hat zudem eine familiäre Atmosphäre verbreitet!

Wir hatten ein köstliches Faschiertes Braten vom Reh und weitere Köstlichkeiten wie etwa Beuschel und Mohnudeln mit Apfelmus. Personal war sehr nett auch zu unseren Kindern. Alles erste Klasse auch die Weinbegleitung von Örtlichen Weinbauern.

Ruhig gelegenes, traditionelles Hotel. In den vergangenen Jahren sehr stilvoll und kundenfreundlich erneuert. Eine Gastgeberfamilie die ihresgleichen sucht! Die sensationell grossen Zimmer mit tadellosem Bad im Arkadenhof sind sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Sehr viel Ablagefläche. Äusserst sauber. Das Personal durchwegs freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr speditiv. Unser dritter Besuch nach 10 Jahren hat unsere bisher positiven Erinnerungen noch übertroffen.

Really enjoyed our stay here - friendly owners and staff, comfortable room and great food. We enjoyed walking around the very quaint village first thing in the morning before enjoying a hearty breakfast to send us on our cycling way. Would definitely stay again.

Spotlessly clean hotel with wonderful hospitality and excellent food. Christian and Manuela are very attentive hosts and run a hands on operation. Several different room options are available. Weissenkirchen is a great location for exploring the Wachau.
