"We have just returned from a short stay. We had a lovely room with sea, pool and airport view. We found the hotel to be very clean, the staff helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and plenty of choice. Overall it was quiet and not a lot of entertainment during the day which suited us though I did enjoy aquarobics. We couldn't get a slot on the minibus to Funchal but the receptionist gave us directions and a timetable for the express bus. We couldn't believe how cheap it was. Overall we would recommend this hotel and would definitely return."

"Just returned from one week holiday with Jet2. Upgraded direct with hotel to lovely sea view room. As aviation enthusiast, love location close to airport although it's not for everyone. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wardrobe door problem rectified quickly. If you want to exit/enter through hotel garden, key card has to be used. Great security! Bar service very good, 12 months 12 cocktails promotion. Star deducted due to ongoing problems with keeping food warm/hot (same as last year). Also food labelling became non-existent near end of holiday. Cuban night (Tuesday) and Saturday dinner buffet not worth the cost."
