Het is niet toegestaan om in de openbare ruimte spelletjes te spelen. Dat mag alleen bij de paar lage tafeltjes bij de ingang. Daar is het koud, ongezellig en de tafels zijn bijzettafels waardoor het onmogelijk is om daar een bordspel op te leggen. Wij waren met een groep van 7 en het was onmogelijk om 'smorgens tijdens het ontbijt een tafel voor 7 te krijgen. We konden daarom meestal niet samen ontbijten. Het restaurant is een beetje sfeerloos. Wij zaten er met oud en nieuw en de prijs van het menu stond niet in verhouding met wat je er voor kreeg. Maar een paar mensen in het hotel spreken Engels. Ik vind het nog steeds een raadsel waarom ze de mensen die geen engels spreken achter de receptie zetten. Een telefoon gesprek was onmogelijk omdat mijn Duits onvoldoende was en de receptioniste geen engels (wou) spreken. De ober was continue aan het hinten naar zijn tip wat ik ook nogal opdringerig vond. De sauna en gym waren vanwege Corona geloten. Daar kan het hotel natuurlijk ook niets aan doen maar door de onflexibele houding tov het gebruik van de restaurant ruimte, ook voor of na de reguliere dinertijden maakte het wel heel vervelend. De kamers zijn prima om in de slapen maar klein en van weinig luxe voorzien. Dat is helemaal prima maar als je nergens anders kan zitten is het wel vervelend. Verder werden de kamers uitstekend schoon gehouden en waren ook de dames die het ontbijt verzorgden heel behulpzaam.

We stayed here for the last half of our vacation. This was my wife’s first time in Germany and I wanted her to experience Bavaria as it should be. We were greeted very enthusiastically by the lady at the desk. After giving us the room key, she made sure we knew how to use the elevator and get to our room. The room was very nice. I booked a double room. It had a balcony that overlooked the train station and bus stops. We had a great view of the mountains. As far as dining goes, breakfast is included. The kitchen also serves awesome food for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served seven days a week. The restaurant is closed otherwise on Sunday and Monday for anything else. There is plenty of shopping close by. The entire staff was awesome. From the people at the front desk to the kitchen and those that kept our room immaculate. There is also free parking in the area. We left our car in the DB lot. That cost 28 euros for four days. I was glad to pay it. I could have probably not paid and been fine. I just felt it was the right thing to do.

Ist insgesamt nicht das modernste Hotel, aber ich fand die Einrichtung super und stillvoll. Frühstück war absolut klasse. Einzig negativ empfand ich das deutlich zu kleine Badezimmer, die Tür stößt direkt am Klo an. Ansonsten hab ich nichts zu meckern, alles sauber, nettes Personal. Top!

Das Hotelzimmer ist groß und geräumig gewesen, das Bad war klein und fein. Wer Fitness machen möchte kann sich in dem kleinen, engen Fitnessbereich austoben. Der Fahrstuhl rumpelt wie in einem Horrorfilm, bringt einen aber ans Ziel. Der Frühstücksraum ist schön groß, es gibt ein gutes Continentales Frühstück. Für Fahrräder gibt es auf der Rückseite eine alte Garage zum unterstellen. Die Innenstadt ist nur ca. 10 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt.

Very dated hotel, but clean. Could do with air conditioning for the summer months. Breakfast just OK, there never seemed to be hot food out. The biggest problem with this hotel is they are understaffed. Staff seemed to be always busy elsewhere, covering reception, whilst also in charge of breakfast, staff were lovely just overworked. Location is excellent, and as I say rooms very clean. We requested a fridge for our room, and it was brought up straight away. so no complaints, just feel sorry for the staff.....

This was the hotel we were assigned for the day of our visit to the Passion Play in Oberammergau. However, I wouldn't recommend it for that purpose, as it is 30 minutes' drive away. Nonetheless, our room was perfectly satisfactory and very roomy. I loved the soft pillows (I needed two). It's a town centre location but very quiet, and convenient for the station. As with many foreign hotels, there is no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, which is such an essential requisite. For me, no hotel can get 5* which does not include this necessity.

Hôtel traditionnel allemand. Certes la décoration n'est pas moderne, mais c'est confortable et propre. A proximité immédiate de la gare, on a accès en quelques minutes à pieds au centre de Gamrisch ou de Partenkirchen Petit déjeuner de qualité

Hotel lag direkt neben den Hauptbahnhof Garmischs. Restaurants in umliegender nähe und gut zu fuß erreichbar. Gutes Hotel mit gutem Frühstück. können wir empfehlen. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Haustüre. bei einem Aufenthalt muss aufjedenfall die Zugspitze besucht werden.

Das Personal im Restaurant war extrem unfreundlich. Trotz vorhandenem Platz wurde dem Wunsch im Freien zu sitzen nicht entgegen gekommen. Im Gegenteil wurde mitgeteilt, daß man nicht fertig werden würde, wenn jeder seinen Platz wählen könnte. Wir waren nicht teil einer Reisegruppe, aber danach wurde gar nicht gefragt. Das Restaurant wirkt ungemütlich mit Saalatmosphäre. Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen für einen schönen entspannten Abend.
