What a wonderful little slice of heaven in old Bavaria. This place is absolutely a gem. The dinner menu was fantastic, though just a little pricey...but you get great entertainment and the food is top notch. You get what you pay for...big plates, for sure. It was always packed full, so make sure to book a reservation. Breakfast is a wonderfully personal treat and had everything you'd expect of a European style breakfast. The sisters Fraundorfer run the place and do so splendidly. There are three lodging buildings, so inquire so your needs are met. I think the two back buildings are more modern and upscale from the main gasthof. Most comfortable bed we stayed in our entire trip to Bavaria/Austria. There is parking on site at 6 euro a night. Shopping on Ludwigstrasse is fairly slim. Best shop is the chocolate shop just across the street...amazing. Marienplatz isn't far away and there are many more shops/restaurants there. Definitely try the Shaka Burgerhaus joint, it was fantastic! There are no XMAS stores around. Closest is Oberammergau, which is a great little town to visit/shop in. I highly recommend this place for a real, authentic taste of Bavarian culture. Wi-Fi was excellent. No AC, but the alpine evenings are cool and the doors tilt open, so it was very comfortable at night. Extremely clean. Very satisfied with our stay.

I have never met such a service minded and kind staff anywhere before. They always greeted me by my first name, offered safe and homely atmosphere in the most traditional and cozy Bavarian guesthouse. Since I cannot eat gluten, the «mother» of the house woke up early to bake the most wonderful and tasty gluten free buns. In the evening, they offered traditional food and drinks while listening to yodel and watching Schuhplatter. The location was perfect in the center of Partenkirchen with short way to both town centers and the Alps. I highly recommend the place. It feels like family and home here.

This hotel was magical!!!!! The decor was so unique! Quaint and cozy. Staff is so sweet helpful kind funny. Family owned. I would stay there anytime I was in the area. Food was delicious! Entertainment by locals was great. Music dancing. Perfect place to stay

The hotel was charming. I appreciated the balcony, as I was able to exercise out there and not bother anyone. We are really glad we ate dinner at the restaurant as it was a rollicking good time with accordion playing, lovely waitresses, and boys dancing in leiderhosen!

Restaurant was outstanding. Clean and comfortable room.
