"Very disappointing. The hotel is very old fashioned and doesn't worth a 4 stars. The rooms were relatively small, and the bathrooms very outdated (cracks in the tiles, old shower faucets (risk for burns), mold in the showers, etc.) Asked at the reception to remove the mold, resulting in a discussion between the receptionist and the cleaning lady, after which the cleaning lady comes to our bathroom and starts cleaning the shower with... the toilet brush! When it is said that this is disgusting, we get the answer that the toilet brush will be replaced. :-( Furthermore, the tiles were broken on our terrace, we saw a hotel guest bringing a broken lamp where he was asked to replace himself and we regularly fell through the loungers around the pool. During our 10 days stay we were given the same menu from day 7 as the week before. Positive impression of the swimming pool, we couldn’t get our kids out of it, and very enthusiastic staff of the restaurant. The staff is doing a great job to keep this hotel open. Really, this hotel needs a make-over quickly. 4-stars is very overrated, you better go to the 4-stars hotel at the other side of the road. "
Sky Pool Hotel Sole Garda
"Meillä oli tilaisuus olla Sky Pool Hotel Sole Garda. Huonemme oli siivoamattomasti puhdas, puhdistus tuli joka päivä puhtailla pyyhkeillä ja vuodevaatteilla. Aamiainen oli herkullista monenlaisia lämmintä ja kylmää ruokaa. Hotelli sijaitsee 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä maalaava vanha kaupunki ja järvi ja kaikki ravintoloita. 10 minuutin ajomatkan päässä lautta, jossa voit vierailla muissa paikoissa järven. Meillä oli uinti katto-altaalla hyvin paljon ja näkymät järven yllä ovat hämmästyttävät. On ravintola, joka palvelee lounas ja voit saada syötävää muina aikoina eli bruschetta ja salaattia. Suosittelemme erittäin tätä hotellia."

"We stayed for 4days 3nights in this hotel and overall I’d say it’s 4/5 stars however none really affect the hotel. Hotel whereabouts: Hotel is in an amazing spot about 30seconds from the lake front surrounded by shops but is never crowded by the entrance. The checking in/reception is separate to the hotel which is a little confusing however is explained on the entrance to the hotel. Also the little shop right next to the hotel will help direct you. Facilities: AC is incredible especially being out all day and also on the humid days. However we found it made quite a bit of noise at night, not the hotels fault. The TV oh my. Constantly loosing signal and turning off very frustrating when trying to watch the England play in the World Cup lol. Again this could be down to the location and bad signal or an older version of a TV? Due to being apart of another hotel (linked to the building you check in/out with) we are able to use the pool tables free, use the rooftop for sunbathing and 10% off at dinners in there restaurant. Hairdryer provided is very weak in case you debate bringing your own. Also in case your wondering if from the UK you’ll need to purchase a plug to use sockets as different plugs Had a live orchestra on the square behind the hotel where you could sit on the shared balcony’s that each floor had to watch! -1 star: Not really the hotel at fault but few things that was not great. One being the loud water from AC and bathroom. Another for the loud noises would be who we thought were the cleaners. Now this was ridiculous loud, loud banging slamming of doors constantly. However I will say the walls are incredibly thin and the bell that rings above the hotel sounds like it’s in the room with you. The shops below and restaurants bringing in and out there things is loud also so again not the hotels fault really. Ants!: Lastly would be that we had many ants in our room. On our bed, under skirting boards under window and our bathroom. I thought maybe we had brought them in but I seen 3-5 gathering and returning to under the window in a gap. We did report this to the receptionist at the time to a man called Luca. Luca was really apologetic about this and requested someone attend to it in the morning as we noticed a lot more had returned when we arrived back from being out and this was quite late. In the morning when we went into the other hotel for breakfast my partner spoke to a lady in reception about the situation. She said she was aware and that loads of ants in your bed, floor and bathroom is normal? I’m not sure about that. The man did actually come and investigate the ant infestation in the morning and then said he’d return once we had gone out so he wasn’t in our way. If they did this I don’t know as we saw some still when we returned later."
Hotel Astoria
"We had a lovely few days here. If you want a fancy hotel with all the bells and whistles, then this place probably isn't for you. However, if you want somewhere in a fantastic central location, with friendly staff, a good breakfast and somewhere that is clean and welcoming, I would recommend thoroughly. The terrace upstairs is a great addition and was always quiet and relaxed. Overall, a great place to explore the lake and we hope to be back."

"This was a beautiful place to stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Due to delayed flights we had to stay in Garda a night before moving on. So we booked this hotel at 9pm at night and the staff were so accommodating. It’s in a great area. I’m now sorry we only got to stay for one night. I will be back for a longer stay! "

"Oleskeli täällä 2 viikkoa kesäkuussa. Absolutely great hotel and staff. Kaikki yksityinen henkilöstö on ystävällinen ja apullinen. Sijainti on täydellinen. Alle 5 min kävelymatkan läpi tiellä ja olet järven tai vanhan kaupungin. Myös bussivaunu on 2 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Uima-allas on kaunis ja piti hyvin puhdas. viihdytys 2 yöä viikossa oli lisäbonus. Huone oli ilmastointi, joka oli erittäin tervetullut, koska toinen viikko oli niin kuuma. Löysin hotellin olevan hyvin hiljainen, ei ollut häiritsenyt muita vieraita. Huone pysyi puhtaana päivittäin. Oli niin paljon vaihtoehtoa aamiaista. Snacks saatavilla baarialueelta koko päivän. Olin vain sänky ja aamiainen, joten en voi kommentoida illallista. Jos olen koskaan takaisin Garda tämä on hotelli, jonka olen valinnut 100%."

Mutta se oli osittain korvattu sisällä SPA. Sinun täytyy varata se ja se on ylimääräinen mutta fassility on mukava. Huone oli tilava ja hiljainen. Keittiö, minijääkaappi, hiustenkuivaaja ja kaikki tarjottu. Ja aamiaiset olivat hämmästyttävää! Tulee varmasti takaisin."

Ruoka on runsaasti, mutta olimme niin kuuma emme voineet syödä suuria osia. Kaunis risotto kanssa ruohoja. Niin monia asioita on täällä, sanoin todella vaimolleni, että palaisin onnellisesti, mikä on jotain, mitä emme koskaan tee, koska haluamme muuttaa lomaamme joka vuosi. "We recently spent 4 blissful nights at this fantastic hotel. It was our first time to Garda and we were totally blown away by this area. The hotel is situated about a 15-20 walk to the lake in a lovely peaceful area, yes its an uphill walk back from the Lake but so worth it. As soon as we stepped into the hotel and we were greeted by the very friendly Receptionist I knew we were somewhere very special, there was such a tranquil feel about the Hotel, it all seemed too perfect to be real ! The selection and the quality of the food served for breakfast each morning was 5 star. We enjoyed a few hours each afternoon relaxing by the pool which which we found so refreshing. The prices for drinks and food by the pool were so reasonable and of very high quality. I particularly enjoyed my Pina Colada it was so well made. We booked dinner for one night during our stay and it was truly amazing. I had a the lobster with pasta and I have never tasted a nicer dish. The food and the service was amazing we enjoyed engaging with all the staff as they were just so nice. Our room was so nicely decorated and spotless and so quiet, good size and well appointment spacious bathroom. We are already looking forward to a return trip next year to this area and of course to this hotel. In these times in Europe where good staff are so hard to find. especially in the hospitality sector, The Management of the Tobago Hotel must be doing something right to retain such happy and hard working employees. We have never come across such perfect hospitality in all our lucky years of travel and we wish to thank every single member of staff that went out of their way to make our holiday a very special and memorable one. From the breakfast staff, the pool area staff, the chefs and staff that served us a wonderful dinner and to the very professional yet super friendly staff at Reception we say a huge Grazie Miele to you all for a wonderful holiday. we were sad to leave. Perushotelli. Wifi ei toiminut, eikä kassakaappi. Respa ei paikalla, avut haettava alakerran ravintolasta. Siivous joka päivä, mutta kemikaalit eivät haisseet: hieno juttu. Sviitissä poreamme ja parveke järvinäkymin, reilusti tilaa. Portaat, ei hissiä. Pienellä viimeistelyllä ja asiakaspalvelutsempillä saataisiin ihmeitä aikaan. "

"I recently stayed for a week with a friend and what a wonderful holiday we had. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who without exception were really friendly & helpful to any request. Really comfortable rooms & superb restaurant where we ate on numerous evenings with a table right by the lake. A highlight organized by the owner was a boat trip with Rafael on the lake who served us with chilled white wine & delicious local produce. Lastly we can't forget Scooby, what a character!"

"Kolmas onnellinen loma tässä ihanassa kiinteistössä. Kiitos paljon uuden johtajan, Nicoletta, joka on auttanut tekemään tämän matkan paras vielä. Herkullista runsaasti ruokaa aamiaista ja illallista, upea henkilöstö, Emi ja Francesca ja ALL ruokailuhuoneen miehistö, aina onnellinen saada meille cappuccino ja pitää pöytämme viileä. Uima-altaalla se on fantastinen, iso, uima-altaalla baari, ja runsaasti paikkoja, joten kukaan ei tarvitse varata. Nicoletta ei olisi voinut olla apua, kun olin kotona kriisi, ei ollut mitään liikaa ongelmia hänelle ja hän auttoi valtavasti ja teki minusta tuntea paljon paremmin asioita. Et koskaan saa huono loma tässä hotellissa."

"En ole jättänyt arvostelua hotellille ennen, mutta tunnen olevani pakollinen jättää arvostelun jälkeen hämmästyttävän oleskelu. Todellakin paras loma vielä. Meillä oli hämmästyttävän viikon täällä nuoren perheen kanssa. Kaikki hotellista oli täydellistä. Hotelli oli uskomattoman puhdas. Ruoka oli herkullista ja henkilöstö ei voinut tehdä enemmän sinulle. Uskomattoman huolellinen, ystävällinen ja antoi meille tervetulleita. Hotelli on hieman kävelyllä järvestä, mutta hoidimme sen kahden nuoren lapsen kanssa lämmin sää. Ei tarvitse kävellä, koska hotellin ohjauslauta on palvelussa, kun se on tarpeen. Nautimme oleskelusta niin paljon, että me lähes varasimme ylimääräisiä päiviä matkan lopussa. Kiitos kaikille henkilöstölle. Toivomme palata pian."
