Poiano Garda Resort Hotel

從多洛米蒂開車過來，到達的時候已經晚上8點多了，因為週末酒店全住滿了，check in的時候發現前台操作很不專業，訂的是三人房加擁有景觀的頂層雙人房，結果三間房間全部給標間，和酒店的圖片完全不符，溝通了非常久最後才勉強給了原本屬於我們的房間，等折騰完的時候餐廳也沒東西吃了，還得開出酒店吃披薩。 酒店的環境設施很一流，也標註四星，但房間和內部裝修很普通，可能年代久遠了，開電瓶車的意大利小哥很可愛，一路邊哼歌邊開車帶我們去看各種房型，也很吐槽前台的不專業。

Abbiamo soggiornato dal 13 al 20 ottobre,abbiamo preferito appartamento bilocale vista lago,in quanto ci piace visitare gli incantevoli paesi nei dintorni,è la terza volta che torniamo in questo resort meraviglioso, attorniato da verde ed una vista mozzafiato del lago di garda,gli appartamenti sono spaziosi e dotati di ogni confort,la sera quando tornavamo dalle nostre escursioni nei vari paesi,cenavamo nel nostro appartamento sulla terrazza vista lago incantevole,è un posto davvero magico ,curato nei dettagli veramente bellissimo,una piscina bellissima, spa e ristorante, anche se nn abbiamo mai usufruito ma da visitare almeno una volta,c'e persino un bus navetta gratuito che dalla reception ti porta nel centro di garda...grazie infinite per l'ospitalità e la gentilezza di tutto il personale,torneremo sicuramente una 4 volta...Vera&Marisa

Nice hotel, about a 30 min walk to Garda town, there is a shuttle bus but very small so sometimes not able to use as too many people also wanting to use, there is a free local bus to Garda though round corner from hotel, turn left from outside the gate and walk to end then turn corner, the bus stop is across the road opposite football pitch , ( I will add a photo ) and this drops off and pics up from bus station same place as hotel shuttle bus, we took a taxi one day from Garda to hotel and it was £15 set price which we felt bit pricey? The bedroom was very hot, but hotel refused to put air con on as said they do not put on this time of year, where the room was positioned sun on the room all day so it was unbearable at times!!! we were half board and sadly the food was hit and miss, some unusual choices, one day pike??? salad bar good but few options of meals, wished we had just done breakfast only. Hotel was clean, and bedroom cleaned each day to high standard, most staff friendly, lovely view of lake from room, shame we had curtains shut all time to try to cool the room. Resort bellissimo con un panorama spettacolare, ho preso un appartamento per 3 giorni devo puntualizzare 2 cose -consegnate le camere igienizzate per bene, pulite... -piano cottura fornelli sporchi - usate prodotti adatti - polvere in ogni angolazione sul pavimento 4 stelle mi aspettavo il massimo, cambiate personale ( donne delle pulizie).

Communication between the hotel and myself before arrival was fantastic, could not fault it at all and reception staff appeared to be very friendly. We arrived at 10am and couldn’t check into our room until 3pm which was fine so we decided to take the shuttle into Garda town. The shuttle bus was not appropriate for the amount of guests staying at this hotel. One of the days my 76 year old grandmother and I were sat on the floor in the boot of the bus even though we had stuck to the ticket system and were the first ones there. The staff do not check the tickets, only one day they checked in our whole 6 days of being at the hotel. Sometimes there are 2 buses if you are lucky but either way they only take 7-8 people or if you’re lucky, a seat in the boot. The staff driving the busses seem to pick up girls from the town and bring them back and forth meaning there’s less spaces on the bus, he spends his time kissing their hands and making a fuss of them rather than allowing guests of the hotel onto the bus. The breakfast was not great, food was always cold and did not look edible. The pancakes and pastries were lovely and the drinks were fab but I’m so glad we didn’t go half board as other guests told us it was not nice at dinner time. Also if you want to eat here without half board, it’s €35 a person each night. You can eat in the town for that price for two of you. The Italian restaurant just outside the hotel was lovely! We got a takeaway pizza from there one night which was so worth it and I would recommend if you’re struggling for food as it is affordable. The rooms itself were ok, old fashioned and could do with a remodel. We were on the first floor of the hotel practically over looking reception, very loud at night as you can hear every conversation going on outside reception and people above sound like they are stomping around every night. Beds were ok but the heat in the rooms were awful! We went October time and couldn’t turn the air con on but it was sweltering every night. Our balcony door was broken and virtually felt like it was coming off the hinges every time we tried to open it, not safe at all. drink prices were good for the hotel and couldn’t really fault this. We did want to go to the spa however it is only open from 2pm - 8pm and was too late by the time we wanted to go. Shop was only open from 8am-10am and there is virtually nothing in the shop so don’t rely on the shop for things other than water. They only take cash and the second it hits 10am, it’s shut so be quick. Personally I wouldn’t stay here again as there is room for improvement. We paid around £500 a person for 5 nights and 6 days and would rather have gone elsewhere however the hotel was always clean and staff were always friendly so cannot fault this at all. Abbiamo scelto questo resort perché ci è stato regalato un cofanetto smartbox con pernottamento, ingresso spa per 90 minuti e colazione. Ci è stata assegnata una camera, che seppur grandissima, perché oltre al letto matrimoniale c'erano altri 2 letti .Essendo mazzardata non abbiamo potuto godere della vista lago. Il bagno ristrutturato era molto bello con grande doccia! Purtroppo gli arredi sono un pò datati e non all'altezza di un 4 stelle. La posizione è bellissima. Comodissimo il servizio navetta che porta dal resort a Garda ( evitando così la ricerca del parcheggio) ed è disponibile ogni 30 minuti. Non dò più stelle perché la piscina della spa è veramente piccola e non funzionava bene l'idromassaggio. La colazione molto ricca. Personale gentile.

We had a junior suite, it was comfortable but a bit tired. As a destination for those interested in sport it is very good. The shuttle bus service was inadequate, only seating 7 people. We usually walked into Garda which is just under 2 miles and not the 2 kilometres advised in the brochure. The reception staff were polite and helpful. Housekeeping for our suite was immaculate. Breakfast had a good choice and something to suit everyone. However nothing cooked to order. Dinner was awful, we had half board and regretted booking it. After the first couple of nights we ate out. It would have been nice if the waiting staff at least smiled, no good morning/ have you had a nice day/ what are your plans for today. ☹️ just grumpy faces. On the plus we didn’t get to the hotel until around 9 in the evening and we were offered a cold buffet. It was the best meal we had in the hotel. There were several big conventions throughout the week and I wonder if this contributed to the poor food. Was the kitchen under pressure? If you are expecting nice Italian food I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Fantastic, reasonably priced food throughout Lake Garda. I afraid I would stay there again.

Die ruhige Lage des Hotels ist einmalig. Trotzdem ist man sehr zentral in der ganzen Region Veneto und schnell am schönen Gardasee, oder in Verona. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber gehalten und das gesamte Personal macht einen sehr guten JOB. Die bekannte Weinregion "Valpolicella" mit dem sehr feinen AMARONE, ist auch nur um die Ecke und es lohnt sich ein Besuch in einer Weinkellerei.
