The mazong hotel was an amazing stay for us at gangtok. The most delicious home like food prepared by thier chefs in chilly nights, and the manager mr shahrukh was extremely friendly and helped us with everything. Must recommend to everyone

3rd class hotel. contact number of the hotel is there.we went for checking in around 12 o noon but there was no response. And location is kind of outside the main mg marg main market.

The Food, The Staffs, The Atmosphere, The Vibes all are Extraordinary of this beautiful Hotel. Thank you Mr. Barna Pal Chowdhury for arranging this memorable trip & Memorable hotel. Will not forget Shahrukh's Hospitality & Subha Da's food..just awesome guys.

It deserves a minus star. The owner thinks he is oversmart, check the photos and check your hotel booking, we were there on 11-Oct-2024 to 12-Oct-2024, total group of 16 heads. The worst hotel experience I've ever had. This place is incredibly disappointing, and I strongly urge anyone to avoid it. The staff were very unprofessional, unfriendly, and completely unhelpful. The food was terrible—way below any acceptable standard. To make matters worse, there wasn't even a proper dining room; meals were served in an uncomfortable, cramped space. In our room, multiple lights weren’t working, and the geyser was out of order, making it impossible to get hot water. The mattresses were of terrible quality, and the rooms were infested with toxic bugs, making it a struggle to get any rest. Overall, the conditions were highly unsanitary and uncomfortable. NBSTC tourism booked this place as part of a tour package, and it felt like a complete waste of money and time. I expected a much better experience and am left incredibly disappointed. Avoid this place at all costs if you want a pleasant stay in Gangtok.

We stayed at hotel for 5 days. Accomodation is good clean and hygiene. Location of the hotel bit far from the mall road you have to take taxi for mall road. Hotel staff is very good and co-operative specially mr. B p. Chaudhary who arranged everything as per our requirements. Food quality in hotel is also good but with limited options. Overall hotel is good to stay at economy prices.

It was good hotel in term of staying and ambience. Nice staff behavior and service. Some issue with cab services but over all a very good and pleas-end experience. No. This is all.

Not very far from vajara taxi stand & mg marg, but a little off the main road. Food was pretty decent.

The current owner, Tenzing, who quit his job with the Government of India, to start his famous homestay has kept the legacy of his grandfather alive.
Large spacious and well-appointed rooms, aplenty privacy for you to spend your leisure hours in spaces that your heart seeks, ample time and opportunity is provided by the Mazong House to make your stay all the more fulfilling.
The Mazong House proudly represents the culture and history of Sikkim, combined with all modern amenities that one could ask for, be ready to experience the best of what Gangtok Has to offer!
