"The room facilities were poor and outdated, like a three-star hotel in China. The surroundings were awful, with a disco next door that was open from 2 p.m. to 4 a.m. The hotel's front desk and room service were poor and perfunctory. On my first night, I was woken by the loud disco at 3 a.m. The next day, I asked to check out and change hotels, but they refused. They promised me a better, quieter room and that if I ever had to leave again, I could check out at my convenience. The room became even smaller, worse, and noisier. Someone was making a loud noise in the hallway at midnight, and the disco outside the hotel grew louder. I called the front desk to have someone come and take care of it, but they told me it wasn't their business and told me to deal with it myself. I asked to check out early in the morning, but they still refused. Finally, I alerted the manager and they offered to move me to a room more in line with domestic four-star standards. They sent a fruit basket as an apology, but it turned out to be rotten fruit. After Ctrip intervened, the hotel naturally ignored my request.
