Galveston Beach Hotel arvostelua

Had made reservations weeks before our overnight trip to Galveston for a concert. Checked recent reviews before arriving. Chose to cancel our reservation (even though we were out the cost of the room) due to the many reviews citing roaches and bed bugs. Would not consider staying in the hotel.

Great stay, had super friendly service!

There was a dripping sound that didn't let us sleep. We found a roach crawling in the back of the fridge. My husband moved the fridge, and in surprise, we found more roaches, plus when they clean the rooms they didn't move the fridge we found room keys that didn't belong to us. When we checked out we let the front desks and she roll her eyes at me and said I will let maintenance know. The weird thing is I try to give her the room number and she said I know the room number. I told her that she didn't cause I was not the only guest. Horrible experience.

The hotel itself could use some updating. But let’s be real, when you spend all day out on the beach having fun and getting wore plum slap out, the last thing you’re worried about when coming back to the hotel to clean up and rest are things like paint chips, cracks, lumpy floor, etc. I did find quite a few loose hairs on stuff every time after the cleaning ladies had come, but hey… The same thing happens at McDs (🤢) but this time, I wasn’t trying to eat anything that they cleaned, so all in all… A big thumbs up! Great location, comfy bed, decent price, easy check in, friendly service,

Didn't enjoy food. Server are rude and not friendly. Rushing people to finish food exactly 9 am

ROACHES AND LEAKY FLOORS. Roaches in the bathroom, roaches on the floor, and roaches in the bed. Front desk switched my room to one without roaches in exchange for leaking floor boards. Hotel is really showing its age. Breakfast was nice, room was sizable, and close to the beach.

Pretty clean hotel in a great location!
