這家位置比較偏僻，需要坐突突車上山，不過總體也不遠。酒店衞生、服務總體還不錯，餐食一般，但是booking上9.9的評分還是過高了些，9分左右吧。比較好的是床比較硬，適合腰椎間盤突出不適的人。

A beautiful place to stay, the room was perfect, the staff were outstanding and the food amazing. The house inside and out was beautiful. It was a short walk into Galle historic centre. We loved our stay here and would certainly stay again....Thank you

This amazing place has so much character! Absolutely loved the charm and history that is oozing through this boutique hotel! Thank you Mike and the great team for the amazing service! We ended up eating here most evenings as the food was to die for (try the dumplings!). The pool although on the small side was one of the most beautiful we experienced in Sri Lanka. Surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful flowers you would never have thought you were in the middle of Galle and only a stones throw from the fort.

The Sun House was our favourite hotel which we visited in Sri Lanka. It has been beautifully restored by its new owners and simply oozes character and class. It is a short walk from Galle Fort, or a 5-minute Tuk-tuk ride. The food at the restaurant (an old, converted spice storehouse) was pan-Asian fusion and all the things we tried were delicious, especially the chef's take on fish and chips with locally caught fish. The ubiquitous Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and you can choose to take your breakfast in the sunny courtyard. The pool, terrace and gardens were all delightful. Highly recommended if you like historic, colonial era restorations. Thank you for having us, we will come back next time! We loved it. Tom & El P.s our top tip is to visit the Spice Shack in the Galle market (at the bottom of the hill) to buy tea and spices to take home. Apparently, Jamie Oliver goes there!

We loved our stay at The Sun House, a beautifully preserved colonial property with lush gardens, elegant interiors, and a real sense of calm. The birdlife and occasional monkeys added a lovely natural touch, and the pool area was a perfect retreat after exploring the town. The food and cocktails were consistently excellent, and the staff were warm, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. While the location is slightly removed from the centre, it’s peacefully quiet, set above the town to catch the breeze and still within easy walking distance to the Fort and Old Town. A charming and relaxing stay in Galle. On our ‘return to’ list!

A lovely visit to The Sun House Galle. A 15 minute walk to Galle Fort or a quick Tuk Tuk ride. The sun house has lots of charm and it was a tranquil stay. The food was of a good standard, the staff were attentive and we were upgraded to a room where the bathroom overlooks the monkeys in the trees. This was the highlight of our stay here. However we were told it was going through some renovations as it had been empty for a couple of years and this showed particularly in our bathroom whilst big it lacked opulence it had stains on the sink unit and shower floor which could have done with polishing out and a wooden toilet seat which is not hygienic. We had an issue with no water but this was fixed very quickly and the management were very apologetic and kept us informed. On departure our payment couldn’t be found and took some time to sort out with us having to prove our prepayment and so this was a bitter end to a lovely stay.

Just beautiful we stayed for one night 23rd March. Our room was just perfect, dinner and breakfast just so good. Don't look any further than this hotel you will not be disappointed. Brilliant staff and a very professional and helpful manager. We will return one day thank you

A glorious small hotel with amazing staff. The property is beautifully furnished with fantastic food . One of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka and a welcome respite from the busy Galle Fort area which is only a short Tuk Tuk ride away. We particularly liked the small pool and charming bedrooms.
