Bilin Tree House

Beautiful hotel in a lovely quiet garden. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them, they were very friendly and helpful. The garden and pool were lush and peaceful with lots of spots to relax. We stayed in the house, which was a lovely old place with a kitchen, dining room, and lounge, plus bedrooms and a veranda. It was clean, well-appointed with comfortable beds and beautiful old furniture. A lovely quiet spot to relax out of the heat. Our favourite place we stayed in on our trip. Not too busy either as there are maybe 4 rooms plus the house. The food was very good too, we ate there one night and had a very tasty dinner of Sri Lankan curries. Breakfast was good as well, offers both western and Sri Lankan style. The dining area is a lovely spot to have a pot of tea in the afternoon while looking out at the pool and garden, and the occasional bird taking a dip. Pool was very clean and a lovely refreshing temperature (chemically treated every night). Definitely recommend.

Meer dan een goede locatie om je verblijf in Galle te hebben. Zeer goed eten (ontbijt en diner). Fijne kamer mooie tuin. In het zwembad kan je zelfs echt zwemmen qua diepte. Personeel is ook meer dan vriendelijk. Goede rondleiding door de tuin gehad met duidelijke uitleg ( ruiken aan) over de planten.

This guest house is a gem! It is tranquil, relaxing and very comfortable. The outdoor space is kept impeccable and attended to all the time. The room and bathroom are very clean, comfortable and fully a/c. The WiFi is working everywhere. The breakfast is freshly cooked and exquisite! Over and above anything else the staff onsite is absolutely incredible! They can’t do enough to help and assist in anyway possible

Fabulous property great service especially would like to mention indika and lehru and the cook whose name I've forgotten who bend backwards to make my stay unforgettable. The location is close to most places ome would.likw to go to..I was there with friends for my birthday and they went all out to make it special.. highly recommended don't think twice before staying here.. again indika and lehru are the sweetest and best hosts you will ever encounter

We were a group of 5 couples who stayed at Bilin Tree house for 4 days- 3 nights. It was a wonderful experience. The property is extremely well maintained with really courteous and efficient staff. The swimming pool is a gem. Ajeet the property manager made sure that even our smallest needs were provided for.

An abode of peace and tranquility in the city. Our family and especially my little daughter absolutely loved the family cottage, the intricate details, made even more special by two of the hardest working chef and caretakers Indika and Lahiru. From the ambience, to the breakfast spread and special shout to Ajith made us feel completely at home.
