Cockroaches at the rooms. Very conjugated room. No Security personnel. Water flow is very low in the washroom. Flash is not working properly.

Great location, right on the beach. The staff were very friendly and also allowed me to check in early. I wasn’t feeling too well and the manager Mohan got me some medicine and hot water which was really nice. Great experience, would recommend

This is the first review I've ever written, as I'm trying to protect other vacationers from such an experience. Please don't visit this hotel! The accommodation was full of mold, so we didn't spend a night there. We checked out straight away after we were assured that we would get our money back. Even after asking for a refund several times, we didn't get it back. In my opinion, the owner is a criminal.

Очень грязный и маленький номер. Везде колонии муравьев и грязь. Нас очень сильно покусали муравьи. Грязные стены, грязные полотенца, грязный пол! Пахнет сыростью. Мы были в шоке от увиденного. Фото сделаны после уборки номера. Нам предложили поменять номер, но там было все тоже самое и не работал туалет. На фото все красиво, но в жизни ужасная грязь, даже после уборки. Также в отеле есть аренда сёрфа за 1000 рупий, а в соседнем кафе за 500 рупий. Даже при аренде гостиничного номера, нет скидок на сёрф. Однозначно не рекомендую этот отель.

Nice little Hotel directly at the beach

Great location and on a lovely beach, the rooms are clean and modern with great views, food is really good, but overall the people who run / work here are wonderful. Highly recommend it as a place to stay in Galle if you are visiting Sri Lanka.

Great balcony with rats! Location is great! Balcony is a bliss. But the balcony was visited by a rat multiple times. We got awaken by loud arriving guests at 0430 in the night that tried to enter our room.

The room is nice and spacious. Location is also good. But the AC was not working. They took forever to fix it and the next day, Same problem. It was horroble. There were no room services or anything. I wont recommend this place to anyone.

The employees were very friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. Also the food at the restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend you stay in the “Ocean” room.

elusive staff

the hotel looks nice but unfortunately did not meet expectations. we were traveling with a family of five and in our opinion this hotel is not suitable for that. we had a triple room without a third bed. our daughter had to sleep on a bench. the room was definitely too small for three people. there were no curtains to cover the entire window. there was no hot water. our other daughter slept on the street side. which was very busy and noisy because of the always honking bus drivers. good to know that there is a mosque nearby and in the morning there is a call for prayer as it should be. all in all not a hotel for us to end our vacation. we decided to look for another hotel. a healthy discussion with the owner was not possible about a refund of costs. even partial compensation of the costs was not possible because the delivered did not meet expectations. easy money if you can rent the room twice... for what it's worth, the staff was very friendly and the espresso perfect. het hotel ziet er leuk uit maar voldeed helaas niet aan de verwachtingen. we waren op reis met een gezin van vijf en daar is dit hotel naar onze mening niet geschikt voor. We hadden een triple kamer zonder derde bed. Onze dochter moest op een bankje slapen. De kamer was zeker te klein voor drie personen. Er ontbraken gordijnen om het hele raam af te dekken. Er was geen heet water. Onze andere dochter sliepen aan de straatkant. Die erg druk en luidruchtig was door de altijd toeterende buschauffeurs. goed te weten dat er een moskee in de buurt staat en er in de ochtend zoals hoort opgeroepen wordt voor gebed. al met al dus niet een hotel voor ons om de vakantie af te sluiten. we besloten een ander hotel te zoeken. een gezonde discussie met de eigenaar bleek niet mogelijk over teruggave van kosten. zelfs deels compensatie van de kosten bleek niet mogelijk omdat het geleverde niet voldeed. makkelijk geld verdienen als je de kamer twee keer kunt verhuren... voor wat het waard is, het bediend personeel was erg vriendelijk en de espresso perfect.

I was in STAR room with an incredible balcony and views. A lovey hot shower although the only toiletries was a bar of soap. No water, kettle, tea or coffee supplied but the room wasn't advertised as having these so just bring your own. I loved it here and I'll be back for sure. I was there for BBQ night. The meal was a true work of art. I almost felt ashamed to eat it. Great hidden gem.
