Huge disappointment and unreasonably highly charged! We initially booked the hotel for 3 nights but left after 2 because this place couldn’t be further from a relaxing holiday. Upon arrival, we were offered an 'upgraded' room for an extra charge, and only after agreeing and paying were we casually informed, ‘oh, there’s a train track right behind the fence.’ While a couple of trains a day wouldn't have been a problem, the trains passed every 30-60 minutes, from 6 AM until 10:30 PM. The room itself was decent—spacious and clean—but the constant noise and vibrations made it impossible to sleep. The pool area was poorly maintained, with dirty sunbeds and water full of leaves and bugs—no sign of cleaning. Breakfast was overpriced, with just one slice of cucumber and one slice of tomato on the plate, and the restaurant food was average. The ground-floor room had large windows, and staff constantly walked by, making us feel exposed. When we arrived, four staff members stood around us, watching as we checked in, which was very uncomfortable. Finally, they refused to refund for the third night, claiming it’s their policy, but couldn’t provide any proof—this policy was never mentioned anywhere. They offered a room change, but even 10 more meters wouldn’t have fixed the awful experience from the first night. What this place truly lacks is honest communication and an understanding of guests’ discomforts. Instead of focusing on improving the experience, they seem more interested in overcharging.
