Great service & value Great

You get what you pay for Car parking was super secure.its in the yard of the hotel behind a shutter..Credit to the owners who are trying their best to rescue the hotel.its right in the center of town right next to a wetherspoons..if Ur expecting the Savoy don't go but it's clean and the room was of a good size and comfortable.the lady on reception was supa helpful and cheery..😃..overall I it did the job and I've stopped at alot worse.Shaun

Excellent value for money Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice comfortable bed, a bath and a big flat screen TV. Would definitely be back again.

Not be returning Having stayed here before I knew where I was going. However the satnav instructions take you somewhere else - maybe address this on the app. I checked in no problem. Came up to my room on the top floor. Opened the door and nearly broke my neck as there is a step down into the room but no warning on the room door. I was immediately met with a smell of illegal nature. I opened all the available windows to ease the aroma. The room itself is lovely and big. Lovely bathroom with a very large bath with over bath shower, however the shower head is held on with tie wraps, and there was no handle on the inside of the bathroom door. I went out to visit friends and when I came back the access to the car park was closed. I rang the number and was told I needed to leave my car there walk round the block to the front of the hotel, go in the door walk through the building into the back and raise the shutter myself!! To which I stated was there no one in the building to do this for me as I didn’t really want to leave my car where it was. I walked all the way round went through and someone had indeed come from the inside and raised the shutter!!! There was body hair in the sink. Not mine!! In the morning I washed my hair and the hairdryer didn’t work. From checking in I haven’t seen a single member of staff. Whereas on my last visit the couple who were running the place were always available and visible. I’m really not impressed on this stay and will not be inclined to return.

Nice and cosy From we came they did everything they could to make our stay as best as they could, so nice and charming owner, a nice clean room, and a comfortable bed, what more can you ask for, highly recommended, 10 out of 10 ⭐️ from us
