This hotel/motel is beautifully presented. The bedroom I had was wonderful. The room was a described and photographed. Immaculate is the best description for this property. The restaurant serves reasonable pub grub but a bit dull. The staff in the pub were superb. However The Black Horse has more signs and regulations than most international airports. Great carpark though. Follow the signs!!

Shambolic
Couldn’t park within a mile of the place - it was a sunny day and the car park was packed. When I eventually got in the property I was told there was no record of my booking - no signal to show booking on phone. Hotel then took the booking fee out of my bank account the following day - angry and frustrated is not the word! I will obviously not be back here

Excellent!
Booked myself and my black Labrador in for 3 nights. Spacious room, nice decor and very clean. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The full English breakfast was spot on with good quality items. (Thank you Ben). All the staff were engaging and very helpful. Great value for money!
Would highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again should I be down that way again.

Close to Blyton Park where we were going for the two days, beds a bit soft a few cobwebs in the corners up and down.

Pleasantly Surprised!
For the price I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of this room. It was clean and spacious, with basic TV and tea/coffee facilities. Exactly what I was after.

One night stay at the Black Horse
Great value for money.
Excellent quality accommodation in what appeared to be a purpose built single storey building adjacent to the main pub / hotel, with a 'terrace' of adjacent rooms.
I had my own entrance door off the rear car park area with a room so large you could almost live out of it (ensuite shower room and a sofa also as well as plenty of storage for clothes).
Great pub with good food and large selection of beers, etc and plenty of secure parking to rear.
