Lovely hotel very nice love beautifully placed thank you very much

친절하였으나 체크인 시 방안에 쓰레기가 덜 치워져있었음. 냉장고가 없었으며(다른방엔 있었다고함) 히터가 고장나서 잘때 추웠음

房間連續兩天不打掃 後一再要求 並強調要求打掃 才在第四天打掃！ 喵了個咪滴！ 太懶散了！ 米國人！ 地面是地毯！ 這種很不衞生！ 懂的都懂 地毯就是蟎蟲的温床！

房間很寬暢，佈局合理

We had a reservation for 1 night in Gainesville during the UF/UCF football game. I checked in on the app and was planning on getting there after the game around 11:30pm. I had driven to Gainesville from Atlanta that morning and my family met me from home which is about 2 1/2 hours away so we had 2 cars. I got a call from Aloft around 5pm letting me know that they overbooked the hotel and my reservation got cancelled. The only solution was a Fairfield Inn in Ocala which is 45 minutes away and from looking at the reviews not as nice as the Aloft. This is so unacceptable! We chose to just drive home but that was not ideal since we were tired and why we chosen to get a hotel in the first place. Marriott needs to do better to their loyal customers. I have canceled my future Aloft reservation and will also be canceling my Marriott reservation I have for a trip in November.

We booked this hotel on 9/26 for a football game day on 10/5. We are 2.5 hours away and with a late game, we knew it would be too late to drive home and hotel would be needed. We also chose this location because it's a quick walk to the shuttle bus. We got into town around 4:30 pm and stopped for a quick bite to eat, with the plan to then go to the hotel to get dressed and ready for the game. We got a call from the hotel at 4:45 pm saying they'd overbooked and were cancelling our reservation. They were moving us to another hotel, but it was in Ocala (38 miles away! Back the way we'd already come). We were told that third-party reservations (we booked through *******, even though we are also Marriott Bonvoy members) were cancelled first. We booked 9 days ahead of time, and there were still rooms available at that time. This tells me that they continued to take reservations and, rather than cancel the last booked, they cancelled our ******* reservation. Because of the football game, there were no other rooms/hotels available. We had no where to get ready and had to just change clothes in a Target bathroom. The shuttle bus after the game, dropped us off just before midnight. And, rather than being able to walk a few hundred yards to the hotel and go to sleep, we had to spend 30 minutes charging our EV for our drive back to Ocala (and away from the fast charger we planned to use in Gainesville the next morning). Post-game traffic and an accident lengthened our drive and we arrived around 1:30 am. What had been planned as a fun day/evening was ruined by terrible business practice and no concern for customers and the impact to them. I will never use this hotel and will warn anyone I can against them. I will say that the Fairfield Inn in Ocala, who was left to deal with several of us who were moved, was gracious, welcoming, and sympathetic.

Overall, I thought this hotel could’ve done a better job. There was a straw and debris in the elevator the entire time I was there. It was mid week and the hotel was quiet and I thought that it could’ve been kept up a little better. The elevator doors were filthy and hadn’t looked like they had been cleaned for quite a while. The sheets on the beds are very wrinkled. I also didn’t think that the room was immaculate and I had no bar soap to wash my hands. Although I was only there for two nights, I requested housekeeping for my room and all I received was the bed being made. The trash was not emptied. The room was not cleaned and no clean towels were left. This was definitely disappointing and not what I call proper housekeeping for a Marriott property. Overall, I was a bit disappointed in this property. Becky at the front desk was helpful and accommodating, and I would consider staying here again simply because of the location being close to campus.

Wir waren eine Nacht im Hotel. Empfang war freundlich. Zimmer sind zwar etwas karg eingerichtet, aber die Sauberkeit und Größe war ok. Handbrause fehlt in der Dusche. Es gibt einige Spiele und auch einen Billiardtisch bei der Bar. Die Angestellten an der Bar haben leider keine Ahnung von Cocktails, obwohl diese angeboten werden. Es gibt gratis Kaffee zum Frühstück.

You can’t go wrong, we arrived late and tired and Tiana welcomed us kindly making the check in a breeze. Thanks Tiana! We enjoyed a couple of drinks at the bar served by the friendly Cameron and had a nice chat with manager Becky. Everyone was super nice and room was clean, spacious, bed super comfy! We had a nice breakfast before hitting the road again, very happy and would definitely stay again :)
