"1. I booked this hotel two months in advance. The hotel told me the main building had mountain views. On the day of check-in, my butler told me a room on the 2nd floor of the main building was reserved for me. However, when I arrived that evening, the front desk said there was no such reservation. The front desk staff's attitude was poor, saying the manager wasn't available in the evening. Although they eventually upgraded us to a villa, the view from the villa was terrible. The next day, the butler said he was asleep and missed my call, claiming that in Switzerland, the low-lying terrain means you can't see much of the mountains. Very frustrating. The villa faced another villa, so the view wasn't good. It looked nice from the outside, but the lighting inside was dim, and being next to the road, there was noise from passing cars when the windows were open. Yet, when checking in, the front desk still claimed the villa area was the best, saying the main building had many tour groups and was noisy. However, the outside of the villa was quite picturesque for photos. 2. The breakfast at the villa was the same for two consecutive days. The pickled vegetables looked like leftovers and tasted terrible. When we asked the female chef in the villa area if she could make an omelet, she gave us a cold, stern look and said she couldn't. Later, we found out it was possible in the main building. It really depends on who you encounter here. Most staff were very enthusiastic, but a few bad apples really spoiled the experience. 3. The hotel offers some perks, like complimentary rafting, which wasn't great due to the crowds and poor experience. The butler even admitted that paying for it would be better. But they only told us the ticket price, not the full cost. We only found out upon arrival that there was an additional charge for the shuttle back from rafting. The butlers didn't mention any of this beforehand. 4. During summer, there are tons of families with kids and many cars. The experience is really bad; it's best to drive yourself. There are no good restaurants near the resort; you have to drive over ten kilometers to Wanda Plaza or even further to a town. 5. The facilities are supposedly newer than Wanda's, but in reality, the bathroom outlet was broken, the bathtub leaked in the middle of the night, and my child's tablet couldn't connect to the WiFi, so we had to use a hotspot. It was just a mess. In the villa area, what greets you in the morning might be the sun, or it might be a freshly woven spiderweb 🕸️ and a large spider. Hope the kids don't get scared. 6. Before coming, I asked about the temperature, and they told us to bring thick jackets. Turns out, we didn't need any thick clothes at all; short sleeves were perfectly fine. I honestly feel the service is quite subpar. Although the butler asked for a good review, I really can't give one. The service desperately needs training; it doesn't meet the standard for a good review."

"I booked the hotel's most expensive room type. Both in my written message and over the phone, I explicitly requested a quiet room. However, I was assigned a dimly lit room on a low floor, facing the road, with no natural light. I immediately contacted the hotel (around 10:00 AM upon arrival) and said I was willing to wait for a suitable room to become available (no matter how long, I could do other things first). However, the daytime duty manager and front desk staff flatly told me that all the good suites on other floors were occupied by guests extending their stay!!! No other options were possible!!! (The female duty manager even seemed impatient, as if she was about to argue or scold me?! At the time, I could only attribute it to regional or brand culture differences.) Around 2:00 PM, I inquired again if there were any other possibilities, but was still refused. Around 10:00 PM, when I was about to sleep, there was a loud buzzing, humming, and crackling sound coming from the wall behind the bed. Around 11:00 PM, I still couldn't fall asleep, so I went out to investigate the source of the noise. It turned out to be six rooms (Figures 2-7) for water heating, power distribution, and high-voltage power! They were directly connected to and surrounded the wall behind the bed!!! Suddenly, it all made sense: I couldn't find the source of the abnormal noise in the room during the day (even after turning off all air conditioning vents, there was still a strange noise. I thought I might have missed one, and even asked hotel staff to help confirm they were all off before going to bed). I called the front desk to request a room change due to an urgent need. A different night duty manager was on duty. After a long time, they called to say they would change our room. Upon entering the new room, I also heard a humming sound, very much like a loud air conditioner unit. It made us think that all the rooms in this hotel made such loud noises. Given that the duty manager claimed she had checked the room and found no abnormal noise, we thought: logically, at this late hour, they wouldn't "trick" a guest like this, would they? So we forced ourselves to lie down, utterly exhausted. After lying down, the wall behind the bed felt like the entire wall was vibrating! I tried to lie down for a while, but it was unbearable. I went out to investigate the noise again. Oh my god! Please watch the video in Figure 1!!! The equipment room was directly connected to the wall behind the bed! It was like being in a factory operating workshop... Helplessly, I called the duty manager again, asking her to be more diligent and give us a room where we could "actually sleep." It was already 1:00 AM! After a long time, around 2:00 AM, we finally got into a quiet room. It was on a good floor and in a good location. I just don't understand why the hotel insisted on forcing guests into "equipment rooms," and why they kept such suitable rooms empty until the very last minute???!!! Especially considering the circumstances: the guest booked the most expensive room type + repeatedly communicated the need for a quiet room + repeatedly inquired about the possibility of better room options. And we were assigned to "equipment rooms" twice in a row!!! And the timing was completely unreasonable. The first time, the guest arrived so early, even before 10:00 AM, and stated that check-in time didn't matter, quietness was paramount. What gave that duty manager the confidence and authority to believe that lying was so justifiable: how could a large hotel, during an off-peak season, not have any good rooms available because no guests had checked out??? Otherwise, where did the room assigned at 2:00 AM come from? It's not like a guest checked out at 1:00 AM, is it??? It was the exact same room type! The second time, even in the middle of the night, they didn't give up on their last bit of luck. Did they hope the guest would move into another "equipment room"? If it weren't for the fact that dawn was an hour away, they probably would have assigned yet another "equipment room"... They have no concept of a "guest" and lack even the most basic respect! All this back and forth, I didn't get a wink of sleep! I packed up and checked out very early the next day. This hotel is too terrifying... On my way, I reported the situation to the platform. The platform found the matter serious and immediately communicated with the hotel. They said the hotel's feedback was: they wanted to negotiate with me for an 80% discount if I didn't write a bad review! Hahahaha!!! I really don't know how this hotel, or rather, that daytime female duty manager, or this hotel group & brand, operates... I immediately replied to the platform: I refuse, you don't need to communicate with the hotel. As of now, I haven't received any apology from the hotel, not a single word or character. Perhaps the platform had done too good a job of bringing them customers before. Next, for my stay at the 'WANG Changbai Accor MGallery,' the butler proactively contacted me early on to make arrangements, helping to secure the best possible room. I didn't have to say a word for any extra communication. It was super quiet, a super spacious room, and I slept wonderfully. Grateful! The difference in quality is immediately apparent, the good and bad are clearly distinguishable! Also: the food quality at this terrible hotel is also worrying... During dinner, a cleaning lady was vacuuming the carpet with a high-powered vacuum cleaner... Also attached is Figure 8: an unknown substance on the sofa in the first 'equipment room'."

"Traveling with seniors and children, we booked a two-bedroom suite this time. Trip.com stated it was 140 sqm, but each of the two floors was actually over 100 sqm. "The first two days were all about getting there and climbing Changbai Mountain, and the check-in experience was a total mess, accompanied by sighs and eye-rolls from the gym staff. The next two days continued to be a special, overpriced experience of a hotel that was either too crowded to accommodate guests or simply didn't know how to when it wasn't. Room: By the third day, I finally noticed issues with the hotel's hardware. For instance, the sink actually smelled. For the first two days, I thought it was due to poor ventilation in the bathroom, with odors lingering after use. But then I realized that even without using the toilet, the smell would appear whenever I washed my hands. That's when it hit me: the sink itself was letting out foul odors. Speaking of smells, I also have to mention the management of smoking. It must be poorly managed because there was always a cigarette smell in the hallway. In a sealed, heated space like this, the smell doesn't just stay in the corridor; it seeps into the rooms. If I were staying at an e-sports hotel, being bothered by this might be an overreaction, but I'm not. On-site transportation: One thing particularly worth noting. After finishing a hot spring session at Mediterranean, there's no shuttle bus back to the hotel. You have to walk to the Swiss Hotel and then catch a ride. I, being the unlucky one, finished my soak at Mediterranean. Because it was too crowded, I couldn't get a hairdryer, so I decided to go back to the hotel to dry my hair. I called the front desk, but communication was difficult. I asked if I could get a shuttle from Mediterranean. The front desk told me to go to the lobby, and I said I was already in the lobby. He then asked for my room number. I told him. He seemed very confused and again told me to go to the lobby. I said, 'I'm in the lobby!' He then said, 'Oh, oh, oh, then you need to walk to the lobby of the Swiss Hotel.' My jaw dropped! Fine! In -17-degree weather, with wet hair, I walked from Mediterranean to the Swiss Hotel lobby. At that moment, all the cigarette smoke, the toilet smell, and the eye-rolls and sighs from the front desk I'd encountered over the past few days rushed back to me. Of course, I'm still inclined to think it was a communication breakdown, and I must have misunderstood something. Back at the hotel, I entered the lobby (the smaller one) and rushed to the front desk to ask her. 'Is there really no shuttle from Mediterranean back to the hotel?' The front desk, looking up from her phone, said, 'Yes, that's correct.' Ah, all the staff at this hotel love playing on their phones! On the fourth day, after a day of skiing, I returned to the room to find that the housekeeping had done a great job, but all the linens were gone. Even the hand towels were missing. I almost laughed in exasperation. On the fifth day, check-out day. My boyfriend sent a message to the butler, letting them know all the linens were gone, just to give them a heads-up so they wouldn't think we stole them 😂😂😂😂😂. The butler apologized profusely. Oh! That morning, at 9:30 AM, we went to the restaurant for breakfast, and there was absolutely nothing left! After staying for four nights, jianbing guozi (savory crepes) and boiled noodles were the only guaranteed items. The restaurant was drafty, and the four hot dishes were never actually hot (the lights only dried out the food, they didn't keep it warm). Any mid-range brand under Huazhu Hotels would utterly beat this dining experience. Check-out: Three people were standing at the front desk. I was pushing a 26-inch suitcase and a 28-inch suitcase. A woman dressed like a supervisor and a front desk staff member were busy chatting, saying there weren't many guests left today. No one offered to help. My boyfriend parked the car and came in to help with the bags. At this point, a male staff member blocked his way, turning back to talk to the three front desk staff. My boyfriend and I, struggling with the large suitcases, waited behind this male staff member until he finished his casual chat with the three female front desk staff, because he was blocking the way. My! God! Goodbye! I wouldn't recommend anyone stay at this hotel unless it's 300 yuan a night. But it's not~"
