Three House Hotel

Uitstekend onthaald, super kamers, heerlijke rooftop bar, ondergrondse parking inbegrepen, perfecte uitvalsbasis om Madeira te ontdekken, supermarkt aan de overkant van de straat, in het hart van het zeer gezellige Funchal. Een echte aanrader!

Just back from a recent adventure that included beautiful Madeira! An absolute gem. As we had 8 nights, we decided to divide our time between two locations, although both in Funchal. At first it seemed silly, but I really wanted the resort experience, thus we stayed 4 nights at Savoy Palace, which was also great. However, our 4 night stay at Three House was also fantastic and what made it even better was the exceptional support from their staff, especially Sid. Even before our visit, Sid was on hand to answer any and all questions. His advice and suggestions for our day trips were spot on and so helpful. And once we were there he went above and beyond. After returning from a day of hiking, I had lost my wallet. I asked Sid if he could contact staff at Pico do Aeriro…..long story short….he managed to locate my wallet and arrange its transfer and return!! The hotel itself is perfect. It has everything you need for a great stay. They had me at all the SMEG appliances. A great rooftop pool and bar, with live music. A gym we never used, because as Sid said, get outside and explore the island!!! The restaurant was also excellent. The only scary thing for us was the navigating the parking lot! But after 4 nights, we got used to it. Be careful. lol If you choose Three House for your home base in Madeira you will have made a great choice

Can't get over the horrible location of this hotel. Who in their right minds builds a hotel between two roads? Having visited Fucnahl it's unlikely you'll a find a hotel far away from a road, but my god I they couldn't have picked a worse place for a hotel if they tried. Not only do you hear and smell cars all day every day the smell of fish from the market as soon as you step outside is overpowering and all encompassing. Go literally anywhere else.

Our recent stay at 3house was nothing short of curated excellence! I can't say enough about the apartment and how well thought out every detail was layered with taste and functionality. We had fresh croissants delivered to us at 7 am. Laundry was available (self help) but such a key asset after hikes and being rained on! The rooftop bar and pool were such an indulgence. But let me get to the heart of this place and that is the people who make this place home. Sid and Marcio provided timely and excellent recommendations, never rushing, always willing to answer questions with so much patience and humour! All their staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensured our stay was memorable. Access to the gym was also a nice touch! We can't imagine staying anywhere else in Funchal and can't wait to be back! Thank you for a great stay! We miss it already!

Excellent Perfect location, close to the old city of Funchal, the marketplace and the cable car downhill station. If like to workout it's the right place to be as it gives free access to a big gym in the same building.

The two of us felt welcomed and treated like VIPs in this absolutely gorgeous, modern, luxury apartment hotel. This trip was a special birthday present to ourselves and we loved every moment in this jewel of a vacation spot. Three House is in a highly desirable Old Funchal location within walking distance of everything. Five stars out of five.
