Hotel Baia Azul arvostelua

Отель удобно расположился для передвижения на машине. Практически через дорогу - торговый центр. Поблизости множество магазинов. Просторные номера, огромные балконы. Классный разнообразный завтрак с шампанским. В отеле множество красивых фотозон с видом на океан и рассвет! Роскошная терраса! Открытый бассейн и джакузи не с ледяной водой, мы заходили зимой совершенно спокойно. В закрытом бассейне вода намного теплее, но сильный запах хлорки. При заезде выдают карточки для получения приветственного напитка в баре, расположенном в холле. Было приятно. Один раз мы сходили на ужин, который подаётся в виде шведского стола. Но нам не понравилось. Было не так вкусно, как хотелось бы. Единственный минус, который мы нашли, это платная парковка в подземном гараже! Почему бы для гостей не сделать парковку бесплатной? Но, надо признать, для 4 - ехать звёзд Отель очень хорош! Рекомендую!

Grievously overrated! I arrived at the hotel around 12:30 PM. Check in time is 2 PM. I ask if they have a clean room available. They said they can have one shortly, and to come back at 1. I come back at 1, and they tell me it's not ready yet, despite what they previously said. And now they say to come back at 1:30. I return at 1:30 and it's still not ready! They tell me to come back at 2, which would have been the normal check in time anyhow. I was informed by hotel staff through email that parking is 10 euros at night. But the front desk tells me its 13. Then they tell me they surcharge for EVERYTHING other than breakfast. If you want towels or robes, they charge you to rent those. They charge you each night to use the in room safe. What is it they don't charge for? A matter of fact... they offer me a complimentary welcome drink at the bar. I ask if I can get bottled water, and the bartender says the welcome drink can only be alcoholic! ***? You mean to tell me that water is a more expensive overhead for the hotel than alcohol? The final straw for me was when overcharged me for using the sauna. Yes, they charge for using the sauna or Turkish Bath too... It was supposed to be 5 euros per person, so we should have paid 10. And they charged me 14 instead. There is an older woman at the front desk who is particularly not helpful. I don't know why anyone would want to stay here when they nickel and dime you A la carte for EVERYTHING. The only positive thing I can mention about this place other than the location, is the breakfast. I will give them credit for serving very healthy and tastey food in the morning, but that's about it.

訂房時的相片有露台，但實際是沒有，今人大失所望，如果沒有露台我是不考慮此洒店！但其他設施及服務都非常好，晚上在洒廊或大堂可以聽歌飲嘢，很有氣氛，餐廳環境很好，可以看着大海食早餐，食物也很好味，職員非常友善。

Hotel has great location, amazing view and pretty good rooms with balconies. The only thing is some problems with ventilation system in the kitchen so in lobby and in the main restaurant you can smell everything they cooked.

We really enjoyed our stay at Baia Azul. This hotel has everything! Gorgeous views from the lounge area, a lovely bar with entertainment at night, excellent service, lovely comfortable rooms, and a very nice pool area. We cannot fault it! The breakfast was also lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

Hieno hotelli Varaamamme huone ei ollut sivustollasi näkyvä perushuone, mutta kun saavuimme hotelliin, he sanoivat, että se johtui hinnasta. Maksoi siis 24 enemmän turhasta.

Отличный большой отель. Много немецких пенсионеров. Очень хорошее местоположение - на берегу океана, рядом большой торговый центр Форум и пляж Формоза. На 1 или 2 автобусе дорога до центра Фуншала занимает 12 минут. Завтраки очень разнообразные, но очереди за кофе после 8 утра. Проходят на этаже с потрясающим видом на океан, можно сидеть на улице. Не понравились бассейны - с красивым видом, но неглубокие, везде воды по пояс. Только для детей. Кондиционер работает только на охлаждение - в номере было холодно.

Erittäin siisti, miellyttävä hotelli. Helppo pääsy uima-altaalle merelle päin. Aamiainen monipuolisella valinnalla. Erittäin miellyttävä henkilökunta. Mukava sänky ja huone.

Excellent hotel with oustanding location, service and food. Perfect spot for a perfect vacation in Madeira.

We stayed at the Baia Azul in March 2025. I can honestly say from the moment we stepped into the hotel we were impressed. The location is around a 30 min walk into Funchal which we thoroughly enjoyed doing most days. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are cleaned every day. We were on the 11th floor with fantastic views of the ocean and across the bay. We stayed B&B only. Breakfast was everything you'd want. So much choice and starts at 7.30 and ends at 10.30. We did eat at the snack bar a few evenings which was lovely. The niciose salad is delicious. We also ate at the SAL restaurant one evening which is Italian food. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. It had a lovely peaceful feel. Close to a fabulous shopping centre, The Forum. During our week there we went on three trips which we booked with a company outside the hotel. We did the East Tour, West Tour and also a catamaran boat trip to see dolphins and pilot whales. The east Tour was done by jeep safari which was good fun. On the whole we felt we had booked the perfect hotel and if we were to return to Madeira (which is highly likely) we would definitely choose Baia Azul.

This hotel is beautiful but what we liked best were the terraces overlooking the ocean with stunning views. We had breakfast on one terrace and there are seating areas on the main reception level terrace too. We used buses 1 and 2 to get to Camara des Lobos and Funchal town centre as these stop outside the hotel. We also used the hotel courtesy bus which was great but only runs four times a day. We walked it too. The pool area was never busy and there were no silly sunbed shenanigans. WiFi worked well and the breakfast choice was extensive. I particularly enjoyed the tropical fruit. There is a shopping centre very close by and plenty of lovely restaurants and bars. We especially liked Imperfeito restaurant and the Himalaya as well as the Bottle Shop for drinking wine with snacks. Housekeeping was wonderful. The only downsides to this hotel were that you had to use the same pool towel for the whole week. We asked for a replacement but could not get one. And there are no toiletries apart from body wash and soap. But these are minor things. All in all it was a superb stay and fantastic value for money. We liked the man with the falcon who kept the pigeons away at breakfast. Evening music seemed to be cover versions of old pop songs - not our cup of tea. Lady on reception was rather impatient with us but we didn’t need to have too many dealings with her. For the price we paid we really felt we had hit the jackpot.

Schönes stylisches Hotel im Hotelviertel von Funchal. Ideal gelegen um die Insel zu erkunden. Frühstück und Abendessen mit grosser Auswahl als Buffet. Toller Aussenpool mit genügend Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Innenpool und Gym vorhanden.
