Vila Baleira Funchal arvostelua

All I can say is it was a nice stay. I wouldn't stay here again, let's say that much. The staff were absolutely lovely but the cleaning service and bar service is little to be desired. I left a note for the room to be cleaned a few times. They took no rubbish and left dirty cups on the side which baffled me (obviously dirty as had coffee stains), and rubbish left with beer bottles. I went to the pool on my last day and had to ask to be served. The waiter was lovely when he did serve but it was very off putting. Maybe as a single female you shouldn't be coming somewhere like here? I've stayed in hotels all over the world and I'd say this could possibly be the worst hospitality wise. Also , noise wise from other rooms is horrendous. I was woken twice by either next door or above using the toilet. If you want somewhere to rest I wouldn't recommend here as I feel far from rested. Thank god for ear plugs!
