Really nice stay with family. Good facilities, pools and outdoors. Food and drinks really good and a lot of variety. Staff excellent, really nice and available. The rooms starts showing need for modernisation.

衞生間設施簡陋，豪華雙人間居然門都沒有。陽台上晾衣物不方便，客房太小。環境和服務不錯，一日三餐全包且味道不錯，停車方便。

Very warm welcome, area clean and tidy. Arrived early room not ready ( no problem ) time for a light lunch. Easy time relaxing, room ready clean and tidy walk in shower very handy. Met Katarina guest manager, could not rate her highly enough, a mine of information during our stay, nothing too much trouble. Food was good and varied, you would not need to go go hungry. Only downside was the Italian restaurant, food was very disappointing. Overall a great holiday. Staff were amazing. Will be back again.

This was supposed to be a five star hotel. Definitely no better than 3. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. Staff were excellent from reception to the restaurant. Thats the good points. We booked a deluxe sea view room. View excellent. Room itself was spacious and clean but bathroom very disappointing. Very dated. Bath with side shower panel and mixer taps for shower! No rainfall shower or walk in shower. Water took an hour to drain after shower so daren't use bath. Worst thing about the trip was the food. Very basic although you wouldnt go hungry. It was just not particularly good. Even the orange juice for breakfast was cordial not fresh orange. Even worse were the 2 "themed restaurants". If you stay 7 days you get to eat in each. The Italian one was terrible. Starter and main clearly made from left over food from main restaurant. Pizza tasteless with too much greasy cheese. I ordered a 4 seasons. Each quarter supposed to have separate topping. Nope. Hardly any topping but spread over entire pizza. Guy on next table was arguing no ham on his ham pizza. Eventually the manager said there was ham but the white looking bits of meat were turkey ham! Whatever that is. Madeiran restaurant no better. Again starter and dessert rehashed from lunch. Beef skewers tough and randomly served on a pile of carrots! Spoke to one couple who had stayed 3 times previously. They said each time the food quality was getting worse. I appreciate this was easter but this was probably the most expensive week we have spent on a holiday. Not worth half the price. Madeira nice. Shuttle bus into Funchal was useful. Local island trips good and half price of the Jet 2 offerings

Warm welcome. Amazing views from balcony, room spacious and comfortable, well equipped. Food and drink choices excellent, two of our group were vegetarian znd no problems. Staff very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Communal areas stylish and spacious. Indoor pool was quiet and good temperature . Only criticism about hotel was the dining room got quite noisy at busy times. Location was great, we used shuttle bus and shared taxis to get into Funchal and to use bus services from Funchal. Lovely walk into Funchal from Hotel along the coast path, just over an hours walk.
