Our stay at this hotel was deeply disappointing and completely ruined our much-anticipated family holiday. The hotel’s kitchen operates under shockingly unhygienic conditions. I witnessed the cook repeatedly handling food with his bare hands, transferring it between pot and plate without using utensils. He also tasted food directly from the pot using the same spoon multiple times without washing it. He also used the palm of his hand to taste the food and then continued handling ingredients without washing his hands. This blatant disregard for hygiene is not only unprofessional but poses a serious health risk to guests. The food itself was inedible—bland, poorly prepared, and often unavailable. The kitchen frequently ran out of basic items like bread, butter, and ketchup, making meals even more disappointing. Kitchen staff play multiple roles in the kitchen, from cook to waiter to washing dishes. The rooms are nothing like the pictures—don’t be fooled by the online images. Upon arrival, we found the bed linen stained and the bed throw filthy. The pillows were stained, had an unpleasant odor, and only one was provided per person. There were no duvet inners—just empty duvet covers placed on the bed. Upon request for a duvet inner, we were given only one for two beds and was told there’s no more . Room also had an unpleasant mold odor. The furniture was in terrible condition: wardrobe doors were broken off, and the mismatched furniture made the room feel neglected and unkempt. The amenities were shockingly inadequate. The only refreshment provided in the room was green tea—no standard tea, coffee, sugar, or creamer, which was surprising and very disappointing. The bathroom was just as bad. A persistent foul odor lingered, made worse by a strong fishy smell coming from the kitchen due to the lack of ventilation in the kitchen. The towels provided were old, worn out, and stained, with no hand towels provided. Basic toiletries were also missing—no shampoo , just a low-quality liquid soap in a dispenser. Noise was another major issue. The kitchen sounds—staff conversations, chopping, and even the blender—were clearly audible from our room, making it nearly impossible to rest or nap. The lack of privacy was equally frustrating. All windows face an inner courtyard, forcing us to keep the curtains closed at all times to avoid being seen by staff and other guests. When we raised our concerns about the stained linen and dirty bed throw, the front desk lady reacted defensively. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, she made false accusations against us and even threatened legal action—an appalling and unacceptable response. This level of hostility toward paying guests speaks volumes about the hotel’s disregard for customer service.
