Admiral Peary Inn

The inn is a delight. Our room was well appointed plenty of space in lounge and 9n porch. Breakfasts were good and plentiful. However it does have a lot of stairs we were in middle of a long trip.with heavy suitcases which were a challenge to get to.our room. Lim.over 80 so.maybe it doesn't affect other fitter types.

Lovely Inn with a lot of character. Our time here was wonderful. Lots of amenities. in room and the AC worked perfect during a hot spell. Found room clean and bed comfortable. Very pleasant stay!

We attended a wedding in Fryeburg and stayed at the inn for 3 nights. We found the inn to be wonderful and a perfect fit for our family. Innkeeper was lovely to talk to and allowed an early checkin, that was greatly appreciated. Rooms were clean, spacious and uniquely decorated. Not a typical hotel for sure. We absolutely loved the grounds and sat out enjoying the beautiful weather and view. Lots of space to spread out and an amazing library as well. Just a wonderful stay!

Really enjoyed our stay. Found the home to be very authentic and interesting. Lots of space and the outdoor area was wonderful. Clean room, with lots of extras in the room from a Roku TV to wine glasses. Nice host as well, who went out of her way in assisting us with our needs. AC worked excellent during that hot spell. A+!

No breakfast, as advertised. Booked the English Garden room for 4 nights. Leaving after 2 nights. Although this place is old, guess they never heard of a swifter for dusting. Poor housekeeping. Arrived to find dirty microwave and fridge. Lots of dead bugs. Leaky shower. Dirty cups etc... Not a place I'd recommend. And no refunds!

This place is advertised as a B&B. I chose the premium room (which included breakfast) only to find that they no longer serve breakfast. Two other couples who were there also experienced the same, The room itself had dirty cups, questionable linen cleanliness, dead bugs and much dust . The a/c was so old most of the controls were inoperable and the filter was filthy. This Inn is becoming very run down and is not as advertised. I booked our stay for 4 nights and left after 2. With the present conditions I would not recommend this Inn. I am very disappointed. Although it stated no refunds, we were told we would get reimbursed for 1 night. We'll see.

We loved the inn. Our room was clean and cozy. The mattress was just right for both of us. When we had questions, we were able to text with a friendly staff member. It was really neat that a binder full of information about the inn and the community was left for us to peruse.
