Pricerin Bafai needs to be promoted and appreciated. She is a gem! I had a fantastic experience at Homes 2 Suite in Monroe, LA so decided to go with Hilton in Dallas. What a great decision. It was last minute as my previous accommodation was an AirBnB fell through. I called this location and Pricerin went above and beyond. She looked a my profile, found me the best rate for the best room, and secured early checkin because we needed to be out of the other location ASAP. She was so sympathetic of my experience and made me feel she really cares and that Hilton has my back. When I got there, the hotel is stunning. She was at the front desk and I asked to give her a hug because it was a very stressful situation. When I thanked her for her kindness she said and I'm paraphrasing - at Hilton we are told, if you can make someone's day by doing little things why not do it. Are you serious? Instead of taking credit she credited the hotel. Love her. The location is great. I travel with my service animal and felt safe and secure here. There was a cheerleading training camp so the place was full of high energy girls having a great time. Parking garage is a huge plus in the Texas heat. I gave the hotel 5 stars because the room was a bit rundown. I have pictures for you to see. But everything else was a breeze.

This is not a review of the hotel, but the Cypress Lounge and the terrible service provided by the Server today (09/20/2025) 1. The Server kept me and my daughter waiting for over 10 - 15 mins at the entrance completely ignoring us. At the end, I had to approach her at the bar to ask. There were only 2 additional guests at the bar and not a single person sitting at any of the tables in the restaurant. So she was not busy. 2. When approached her at the bar, her first words - What do you want? Told her: I had come for dinner. Next thing from her: Eating here or To Go. So I was eating there. She then asked me to place the order at the bar itself (she won't come at our table). I then picked a random table to sit. 3. As soon as we sit at the table, she brings the Check with 22% Gratuity already added. Apparently she thought of putting the maximum amount of gratuity without giving ANY service is the right thing to do. She later said that the hotel does auto gratuity (I have never seen this before at any hotel especially for a party of 2 people). Even when there is auto gratuity, it is 18% and not the max 22%. 4. The food came 10 minutes later. The food runner person was very nice, cheerful and most importantly, the food was excellent! I wish I could just tip her. She spent only a minute with us, but we could very well see that she was polite, cheerful and someone who enjoyed doing her job. 5. Over the course of meal during the next 45 mins, the server did not once visit to our table. She didn't ask for dessert or nothing and did not come to pick the check. At the end, I had to go to the bar to pay the bill (as she never came to our table again) 6. Since there was 0 service, I asked her to remove the gratuity and she almost flipped and argued with me. As per her, she had provided service when the food runner asked us "Is there anything else you need". Apparently, as per the waitress, I was supposed to order the Dessert right then at the beginning of my dinner. I escalated this issue to the Duty Manager of the Hotel on the way out later who promised to take action. Hopefully something positive will happen due to this review The bare minimum any Waitress can do is provide service and be polite with guests. The irony of all this is that, I had a $50 perk from AMEX that I had come to spend. The bill came to $42 and I was anyways going to add $8 as tip as the rest $8 were anyway going to be useless. But, based on the interaction with her, I would rather have those $8 go waste then give it to her. I sincerely hope the hotel takes some action to ensure no other guest faces this issue from her.

We stayed here for the SWATA conference. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The restaurant/bar area was really nice and the food was excellent. Alan at the valet parking desk helped us with a dead battery on the truck which was really kind. The bar tenders and ladies at the front desk were also very helpful.

The staff was very friendly, but our stay was not good at all. When we first arrived we were placed in the wrong room. We were told that at 3 our room that they were moving us to would be ready, but it was not. They told us that the room was given to another guest. Then we were given another room that the door lock was broken so we had to wait for another room. Finally we got a room only to get to that room and it smelling so strong of ****. At that time there was no other room to put us in. It was just a whole mess from the time we got there. Then on top of everything the fire alarms went off at 4:00am and we had to evacuate the hotel. We were there for my youngest high school graduation, this was not how we planned this to go. And to top it off no compensation was offered I had to ask for points then was only given 10000 points, I thought they could do way better than that.

I've left reviews and reached out everywhere. I want this stay refunded and will not be returning to this property.
