Hotel Indigo Frisco

Food was Great! They put us a room with mold in the shower and water was leaking from the ceiling inside the shower#211 the quickly moved us to #511 room could’ve been cleaner but we made it work..

My 2nd favorite hotel to visit. Rooms get cold. Showers are hot and bed is very comfy.

Great location convenient to everything. We stayed four nights for a softball tournament. Clean rooms, comfy beds, cold A/C and an ice machine that was always full! Modern lobby and pool with fantastic bar and good food. However, the best experience was with Rae at the front desk. When I had an issue with my car, it had to be towed from the hotel. Rae arranged for the van to transport me, the kids and all our gear to the ballpark. Vanessa drove us and was FANTASTIC too. Rae and Vanessa really saved the day for us. They are ROCKSTARS!

The room was clean and well appointed, the mattress was very comfortable with quality linens, the AC worked amazing, and the front desk staff at check-in were very friendly and accommodating. When I requested help bringing my bags from my car to my room due to my disability someone was immediately called to assist. However, that’s where the friendliness and assistance stopped. As someone with a disability, I requested an accessible room, which I was not given. The room was located at the end of the hall, forcing me to walk more with my mobility device more than I should have to get to the elevators. The bed was way too high for me to get into comfortably, the shower did not have a seat. Why my request for an accessible room was ignored I really do not understand. The morning staff seemed to be unaware of my disability issues as well. I had ordered breakfast delivered to my room. I was called 20 minutes later and told there was no one available to bring it to me and that I would need to come down and retrieve it myself. I told her it really was not possible as I am disabled, and she said she would try to find someone but didn’t know how long it would be. By the time I did get my food it was nearly cold. When I called again an hour later to request assistance with my bags as I was checking out, I was told by the same woman rather rudely, “Ma’am we have carts in the lobby you need to use.” I reminded her again that as I am disabled I could not do this myself. She huffed and said, “Well, we don’t really do that.” When I told her that there had been no issues when I checked in about being assisted and that I didn’t understand why in 14 hours they suddenly don’t offer assistance to disabled customers, she very irritatedly said, “I’ll see if I can find someone.” About 15 minutes later someone did come to my room and assisted me with my bags. The hotel is actually very nice itself, but there’s a lot of work they need to do to accommodate guests with disabilities. There needs to be a fair amount of training for employees and some sort of compassion and respect shown to those who require assistance, which should be done at every hotel in this country, including Hotel Indigo. I’m sad to say that this particular hotel missed the mark for me.

This is our second year using this hotel as our "headquarters" for an international speaking tour. I have nothing negative to say, as we've never had a bad experience during any of our multiple day stays. The front desk staff is super kind and attentive (especially Jay, the assistant manager) and the price and location can't be beat. Depending on traffic, you are 20 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes to downtown, and seriously only 5 minutes from most restaurants and shopping. There's a great restaurant for breakfast and dinner, as well as a bar. The rooms are spacious and clean, with coffee makers and mini fridges. There's a snack shop and microwave in the lobby that's accessible 24 hours a day as well. Zero complaints! We are already planning to book for our 2024 tour in Texas.

I was unfamiliar with Hotel Indigo brand, but the photos were so amazing that I thought I want to stay there. The staff were polite, the lobby is lovely, and the room is modern and nicely decorated; however, in the end...the reason you come to a hotel is to get a good, comfy night's sleep and I could not do that because the mattress was so hard it felt like a foam roller. Oh, don't be a short person because you will need a stool just to get on the bed. I am 5'5 and I had to hop to get on the mattress. We checked out early. (If the bed were comfortable the rating for the hotel would have been Very Good. No mini refrigerator and no microwave.

Where do i start, we booked over 40 rooms with the hotel for my sons wedding over the weekend. when we got to the hotel after the reception around 11:30 that evening, the bar was closed and several of the wedding party were sitting down at the bar tables waiting on some pizza that they ordered and haveing a couple drinks, the front desk lady automatically labeled them as trouble makers and called the manager saying that she is going to need backup as they were going to get out of hand and break bottles! (i heard this first hand as i was trying to check in, i was the father of the groom) and then she proceeded to call the cops saying that they were unrully and out of hand. I talked to the cops and they said that from what they were told, they were ready to have a major confrontiation and 7 cops show up! This is the worst experience i have had staying at a hotel (and i travel for a living)! This experience has ruined what was a gret night celebrating my sons wedding! I would not recomend this hotel if you are traveling with a group!

We were having a wash weekend, to celebrate an anniversary. We're familiar with Holiday inn Express, and since we are IHG members, I thought we should try the indigo in Frisco Texas. This is a modern design hotel, and it has a full service restaurant for breakfast, as opposed to the Holiday inn Express. The room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a desk chair and a chaise lounge in the room. It was nice and clean, and we slept very soundly! Breakfast the next morning was a very pleasant surprise. It looked and tasted about the same as a local diner. Unfortunately, the hotel suffers from short staffing, which has become endemic in hotels, restaurants and retail. Breakfast was a little slow to serve, but so what? The restaurant area was very pleasant. The only point of concern was that the shower floor was very slippery! There were families with children staying here, but I am not sure I would recommend this as a good hotel for children. I have to say, you're probably better off at the Holiday inn Express, if you're going to travel with your kids.
