Lomond Hills Hotel & Health Club

We had an amazing break initially going just to relax and enjoy some jacuzzi pool time but instead from the first minute finding a welcoming professional but family feel. The room was spotless and welcoming all newly refurbished only one thing I’d ask for was a couple of shelf’s up to put clothes on otherwise nothing else was missed. Other half who is a clean freak was really impressed especially by how clean the mirrors were not one streak on them something that is nothing to others but made his dayx the pool was lovely and just perfect the spa amazing and relaxing the sauna was offt roasting (the point I believe) all again spotless I waved to the gym on the way past 😂 looked good had few people working away in it. The bar was spotless plenty of seating for everyone comfy seats included an amazing display of cakes and pies xx down to how closely the owners and staff of the bar kitchen and event/function suit are working hard together to get everything up and running was amazing the passion in everyone involved was amazing unfortunately the kitchen wasn’t open for hot food as yet they are working really hard to have it opened for this Sunday (Mothers Day) which we are hoping to return to support and enjoy with them we also are hoping to have a weekend a month break. A friendly place with so much to come watch this space. Can’t wish them enough good luck that they deserve

Nice pool and gym. Nice room but the hotelis run separately to the pub and no food is available. We ended up eating takeaway twice in our room. Not ideal.

Lovely hotel and staff..

I visited on 18th August 2019 with my twins, mother and partner. It will be be the last. Our family has 4 generations who have all attended through the years as well as my parents having their wedding reception there, now all tainted by such poor food and service. I ordered the chicken and ham salad and couldn’t eat the ham as it was grey!!! A member of staff agreed with me there was a problem and spoke to a colleague for advice. On return, was told I could have 10% off!!!! That’s wasn’t good enough. I’m glad I didn’t eat the ham. It clearly wasn’t safe to eat. We had to ask for toast as well as butter and spread which should all be included with high tea. I also contacted the hotel via social media after this, and received a public message stating they sent me a private message. I was offered to return with my family for a free meal. Sounds good??? I accepted the offer only never to hear back. I then sent another message and they haven’t responded to that one either. Absolutely disgusting and clearly don’t care. We have never been treated so appallingly and the previous owners would never have done that.

Our second visit to the Lomond whilst visiting friends .The rooms are spacious , clean and comfortable and the food is excellent. The staff are very attentive and friendly and the service is excellent .The hotel is also dog friendly and our dogs were made very welcome .I would thoroughly recommend .

After seeing deaths at a perthshire hotel have to say this place is a death trap with fire safety, staff mull around lazily with little care of anything brought to their attention. Local people say owners live abroad and have done nothing with the place they bought 5 or 6 years ago the slobbish manager tells a different story about how they just bought it and are working on it.If you value your families lives steer clear old damp smelly lots of broken fittings wires visible everywhere not safe at all.
