The Unit hasn't had any updates in over 30 years. There were no curtains in the bedroom to block out the sunlight, which shown through the vinyl mini blinds, that didn't reach the window sill. It's just a place to sleep. It's sad, the villas could really be something special, with minimal updates, The hotel has lovely pools, and was really something to see. The location is terrific for day trips, and water parks!

The beautiful rolling hills and farmland of Southern Indiana was a wonderful respite from city living in Chicago. The French Lick and West Baden Springs resorts are phenomenal. The town of French Lick is quaint and easy driving distance to state parks, attractions and even Louisville (just 75 minutes away). French Lick Villas is situated on a hillside above the town. The location is quiet. However, this is not a resort. There are no amenities other than a pool that was closed half the time I was here. The one bedroom unit was dated. However, I was on a personal retreat and was not needing "frills." My wife would've been disappointed in the place but would love the town and area.

We normally do not complain and try to make the best of wherever we are but it was especially disconcerting to note mold in BOTH Villas (they transferred us after a couple of nights in one). After we transferred we realized that the first Villa we were in was not prepped as the first one was (no extra tp - the 2nd one had 2 fresh (albeit very skimpy cheap rolls that ran out in a day). The mattress in room 1 was in great need of replacement, sofa beds not good at all. It was especially disappointing as we had paid a surcharge to stay at this one and we thought it would be a lot nicer than it was. I honestly don't know how it is even operational.

my husband and I booked a one bedroom unit at this place, we were disappointed with the lack of updating, maintenance and amenities. How our unit did not have a dishwasher or ceiling fans and the decking was in poor shape, our unit had to permanent black stiff marks that appeared to be tar on the carpet. However, the unit was clean and spacious. we enjoyed the two surrounding historic hotels, but didn’t make it out for hiking due to the heat wave

Everything was perfect for a week long vacation. Slow pace. Good restaurants. Great golf. Spas for the ladies. Took a nice two hour train ride. Went to Louisville for a riverboat cruise. Canoed on a local river. Plenty to do

Villas-great indoor pool! Our 2 bed/2 bath unit comfortably slept 8 and was very spacious with 2 outdoor decks. You can use all the amenities at French Lick Resorts. Villas gives you a discount card: bowling, horseback riding, golf, etc. Our garbage disposal was broke, they came and fixed it right away. We will go back!

Memorial weekend stay We love the relaxed atmosphere, the nature right outside our door, and the amenities. The huge jetted tub and sauna are very clean and another perk. We had a great time, again!

This resort is older but in a great location lots of stuff to see and do in the area. A hour drive in any direction there is something to see and do. The resort is showing its age but was clean and comfortable. It is not a 5 star resort in looks but is a 5 star for location. Don’t have to leave the area there is lots to see and do right in French Lick. Very historical and beautiful area, we would come back as we found the area such a nice relaxing place. People were very friendly.
